Kali x IW3_MA_2 Halfway Through Flowering and Completely Healthy (English/Spanish)
I haven’t posted in this community in a long time because I’ve realized that almost everyone has left. Most likely, this was due to a lack of support and feedback for the writers, or because the project’s original administrators abandoned it, but I still want to document here the plant I’m growing, which is now in one of the most anticipated phases.
Today, the Kali x IW3 has been in the flowering phase for 47 days—approximately 6 weeks and 5 days—and is entering the final stage of maturation. This morning I applied its final fertilizer for this specific phase—the final dose of bat guano tea. I had already applied the first dose at the beginning of flowering, but this is the final one, and thank God the plant is doing very well; it looks absolutely healthy, with no thrips or whiteflies—the pests that plagued me last season, thankfully.
What I’ll do over the next few days is water it with plain water and let it rely on the nutrients already in the growing medium. That way, I can flush the roots and gradually remove the salts that have accumulated in the pot.
In any case, I’m sharing a photo of the plant so you can see its progress and development.

That's looking delicious.. guano is a great nute for flowering.
Yes, thank you for taking the time to comment. It definitely looks amazing, and the aroma is very comforting too. I think the plant is showing its potential since it’s so healthy, and I’m already 2 or 3 weeks away from harvest, based on my experience as a grower.
Last grow, I had a thrips infestation that ruined my harvest, and it was even more noticeable when I tested the plant—it had a really bad taste and effects. But luckily, I had a harvest from another plant from a previous grow that was healthy, and I could really tell the difference.
Still, I’m not going to let my guard down in these last few weeks, and I’ll keep checking the leaves, but I think I’ve already won the battle against the pests.
I like to use lacewing larvae.. let then hatch right in the plant.. they eat all the nasties.. then leave
And those larvae don't harm the plant at all—they just eat certain pests? That's what we'd call biological control, right? And where do you get those larvae? Do you buy them?
I've noticed that other members of the community aren't posting as much as they used to. What happened? Has interest in the site really dropped that much?
