Today is July 20; there are only 4 days left until it has been one month since the catastrophe caused by the earthquake. It’s incredible, but even 20 days later, people have been found alive in the rubble, and honestly, that strikes me as a true miracle. Many sad and heartbreaking stories have also come to light about families who succumbed to the disaster—families who had lives, plans, and dreams, and in just seconds, all of that was snuffed out by this tragic event that leaves us heartbroken today. Yet we must undoubtedly find the strength to move forward and not let down those who have been hit hardest by this catastrophe. Solidarity has emerged across the country, and everyone wants to help; furthermore, I am deeply grateful for the international support from many countries that have rallied to support Venezuela when it needs it most.

As for soccer, yesterday was the final match of the 2026 World Cup—the grand final—and I think Argentina ran out of steam a bit, as I saw a Spanish team that was in better shape and had more stamina. So let’s analyze what happened yesterday at the World Cup final.

Hoy es 20 de julio, solo faltan 4 días para que se cumpla 1 mes para lo que ha sido la catástrofe ocasionada por el terremoto. Es increíble pero, pasados 20 días, han encontrado personas con vida en los escombros y la verdad que eso me parece un auténtico milagro. También se han dado a conocer muchas historias tristes y lamentables de familias que sucumbieron ante la catástrofe que tenían vida, planes, sueños, y en solo segundos todo eso fue apagado por esta lamentable tragedia que hoy nos mantiene con el corazón roto, pero que sin ninguna duda debemos tener la fuerza suficiente para seguir adelante y no dejar caer a los que han recibido más golpes luego de esta catástrofe. La solidaridad en el país ha emergido y todo el mundo desea ayudar; además, agradezco mucho el apoyo internacional de muchos países que se han volcado en respaldar a Venezuela cuando más lo necesita.

Con respecto al tema del fútbol, ayer fue el último juego del mundial de 2026, la gran final, y creo que a Argentina se le acabó un poco el combustible ya que vi a una España con más forma y aguante. Así que vamos a analizar lo que ocurrió ayer donde se disputó la copa mundial de fútbol.
