A Reasonable Conclusion of Pilgrimage at Bogo Cebu Philippines

Believe and live the miracles of life. The innate core of human beings is the core belief of the divine powers that collect the individual spirituality and religious aspect of human nature.

The best part of believing is keeping the faith and hoping for the best, that is wishing for miracles and blessings in one's aspiration to achieve things that will grant inner peace and happiness. At age 69, it is always my mother's dream to visit one of the well known divine places in Cebu. It was a wish granted when we visited this miraculous shrine of Mother Mary of the Medallion in Bogo City Philippines. The trip took almost 3 hours of Van ride from Cordova to Bogo. We woke up as early as 4 o'clock in the morning because we need to pack and prepare our food. After preparing and making sure that everything was complete, we took the ride and spent some chit chat inside the Van. Laughter's and smile was evident in everyone's faces; on my part I am excited to finally grant the wishes of my mother.

The shrine of Mother Mary of Medallion was a pure mystic and sacrifice to uphold. We took about 200 steps just to reached the shrine. It was a real challenge of stamina and devotion under the scorching heat of the sun. Deep inside I'am about to gave up but as I saw my mother taking every step with ease and smile, my spirit was simply lifted!

Reaching and witnessing the shrine makes me ponder on the magnificent works of man. This shrine was the result of man's desire and devotion to honor the blessed mother Mary. The captivating view on top of the shrine was just a bonus. It was all about giving our tribute, petition and praise of thanks for all the success and blessings bestowed upon our family and loveones. Everyday is a miracle for us and we are honored to celebrate God's instrument of love. We took this opportunity to breath some fresh air and reflect on ourselves.

Since we were in Bogo City, we've decided to continue our pilgrimage to another miraculous shrine of Mother Mary. We also visited the church of Birhen sa Udlot, or the Mother Mary of Udlot Church. The name of the image is base on the name of the place Udlot Bogo Cebu Philippines. A lot of people also visited the place because of its miracles and granted wishes to it's devotees. To my amazement, I was fascinated with the architectural works and paintings of the church.

We lighted some candles with different colors that symbolizes peace, prosperity, hope, love, petition and intentions. We also offered our prayers and hope for the best, especially good health and protection.

Upon recollecting, reflecting and definitely renewing our Christian faith, it was also a time to revived our physical and mental health. We decided to go to Hidden Away Beach resort and enjoyed the deep and clear sea waters in the place. Just before the Udlot Church, we found a hidden wonder. Yes, Hidden Away Beach resort answer our call to revitalize us with a stress free life. The scenic view and sea breeze was astounding. The long travel was all worth it. By 4 o'clock in the afternoon, we decided to left the resort because we wanted to experienced another life in the mountain.

The best part of living in the province especially in the mountainous area is that you can be free from all the anxiety. Plus, almost anything is free as long as you are a hard worker. Yes, we experienced fruit Picking of bananas, guavas, papayas, and singgwelas fruits. I think the fruit picking experienced made a reasonable conclusion of a memorable family escapade at Bogo, Cebu Philippines!
