Crypto From Anywhere In The World

I really appreciate that crypto is entirely digital and can be done from anywhere on the planet with a WiFi connection.

A few of you may know that I recently drove nearly 2,000 kilometers all the way to the East coast of Canada.

I'll be staying with a long time friend for the next month or so and this (above) is my view each day, that's the Atlantic Ocean.

Work From Home Revolution

Since the virus, companies have been forced to allow their employees to work from home. At least this is the case here in Canada, particularly within our largest city of Toronto where I have a flat, a city of 3 million people.

Lots of business thought this would be temporary and I've had a few HR reps tell me they hope to be back in the office within a few months, and here we are 13 months later and now many companies have moved indefinitely to remote work as employees have made it work.

Full credit to people who have had to make the shift and have made it work. You're apart of what will hopefully amount to a permanent shift to work from home.

Work From Home Work From Anywhere

With my last 9-5 project management position I worked from the office everyday for years, commuted a total of 1.5 hours a day and in total over 6 years wasted 105 days of my life sitting in traffic trying to get to the office.

Eventually I convinced my boss to let me work from home a few days a week and worked great. I can be effective from home, it's a productive environment and as a professional you care, you care a lot and make it work, that's what you do.

Now that I'm working entirely remotely within crypto I can take this work anywhere with my laptop and a WiFi connection and it's so freeing!

I'm free to dice across the country and be with different people and make new connections, and enjoy really awesome views I wouldn't normally be able to have, if I was tied to a specific physical location.

Motivation To Create Crypto Success

This experience is motivated, and one of my goals is to always stay in crypto and keep building with the aim of doing, well, this. Just what I'm doing now really.

I can travel and associate with different people, make new experiences, new friend, new connections, new business contacts, all the while not having to restrict this type of activity to the 4 weeks of vacation that I used to have.

I'm not looking to be permanently on vacation, I like to be productive, to work towards goals like most people right. But this kind of flexibility is empowering and is motivating me to put my self into a situation where I am free to travel and work from literally anywhere in the world.

Mobile Internet Will Be a Game Changer

So while travelling out to the east coast I did have to undergo a 2 week isolation and my friend set me up in an empty house and failed to tell me that there was no internet and basically no cell reception.

That time really made me appreciate the power of mobile internet and the ability for me to make a hotspot and work almost anywhere.

But companies like Starlink are going to open up this access to millions and eventually billions of underserved humans all around the planet. In fact their internet service is now in Beta here in Canada.

This type of internet infrastructure will allow millions of people to do exactly what I'm doing now, the digital nomad life, roaming anywhere where there's an internet connection which will soon be every last corner of the planet.
