Holiday: Authentic & Modern Khmer Craft - A Good Souvenir Place in Phnom Penh

Greetings everyone! I had an opportunity to visit Amazing Cambodia. It was actually a Khmer shop that referred to sell only handmade souvenir. During my walk, I see a shop that exhibit a handmade souvenirs and gifts. As I ask my friend, they said it was such an incredibly popular with international tourists and the perfect place to find a special gift for them to take back home.

Location

The shop is located in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.

I don't really know what purpose to use this, but sure it a kind of classic cup with a great design. But, when my friends come and see she said it isn't a cup, it actually a scented lamp which used as a combo with candle. I try to ask her more what it good for. Then she replied "You can get the smell depends on the candle if you choose jasmine, you will get the fragrance of jasmine into your nose.

All of Coconut Oil Balm

Amongst these products, I only have try one which is coconut oil from Amazing Cambodia. I have been using their coconut oil for many years like since 2018, now and I got the results that it is a great natural moisturizer for my skin. Not only avoid my skin to get dry, but also make my skin smoothing and helps to keep my skin hydrated, fill with moisture so that my skin feels soft and supple. As I have found that, I often suggest to my friend that it is great for healing their dry skin, cracked skin, or even on the face, lips and hands.

Handmade Soaps

Totally, all the handmade soaps are made of natural ingredients and are free of any chemical that effect to our skin. The color of the soaps is also very attractive and they look like they have been made with a lot of care. With this package I think the owner is very creative. The texture of the soaps might be soft and creamy when it wet.

I admire the art on the top setting up on the wall. It just a black, blue and white painting which show about the previous Cambodia people, generally as a lady Khmer traditional, they have a lot of custom and actually wear them everyday in case you born in a rich family.

I feel cozy and the fragrance from mix products want me to stay here for long hours.

The prices were also high, but my friends said it is affordable, however if you focus on quality more, this place make you easier to find a meaningful gift for your loved ones or even for yourself.

Truly my pleasure to see how these artworks and Cambodian crafts have been made, they also give the instructions and ingredients under the product. Walking around here I can feel a sense of excitement and admiration when I look at each products along each row. I appreciate the Buddha carving and to many vibrant colors on fabrics of Kroma. I think Kroma of Cambodia now become a well known than before, however I am not clearly sure if you know it, these creations are a testament to the skill and imagination of the Khmer people. I'm so glad I finally got to visit this place and experience its beauty.

Mostly, there was international tourists rather than national visitors come to explore here. I think this place is great for you if you are looking for gifts or souvenirs back to your country so that it can remind you of Khmer costume and symbol.
