Our journey to Ta Prom temple is by motorcycle, which allows us to be prepared, wearing helmet and comfy close but something unexpected happened. We thought that it would take us only one hour to travel, but due to the broken bridge, the police told us to move to another route, which took us another 30 minutes to arrive at our destination.

That day the weather was pretty good, I was visiting Ta Prohm temple, since our temple site is becoming more widely known it seems like many international visitors are likely to visit Cambodia for their vocation.

The old trees was fall into the side walk.

It obvious that the European tourists buying tickets to explore temple in Archeological Park is already twice times more than tourists from Asia. I heard from my niece that Ta Prohm Temple have an interesting site to see. On my vocation in Siem Reap, I asked my daughter, grandchildren and my sister to go with me, I want to see the greatness of the temple with my direct eyes.

The first thing I saw on the way was the big trees, like a very big and tall, their age is way too old than me. Last decade, compared to now I think there used to be more tree and this. Probably, it now developed a lot especially the road and the environment is getting better.

We enjoy this kind of scenery since we drove pass the place for praying. After we passed that, something similar we continue to see until we arrived at a few local people house, and the environment started to change at that time. Siem Real provinces, I think the street is very organized.

On either side of the road, and the rows lined up beautifully with color east for passenger to notice, and the road was luxurious and beautiful with big green plants, making us feel cool and breathable. Convenient with fresh natural air.

This is the gate of Ta Prohm where I walk towards my big sister, she was the first to walk there and she was waiting to take pictures there calling me from a mile, she ways too busy than me and wearing a big hat because she needs to protect her skin from sunlight and was afraid of damaging her skin.

She wanted a very beautiful photo, but she isn’t sure how to do a great pose while visiting temple looking like she isn’t the local here, I shout to showed her arms left and the right the same way, and I started to take a picture, and I was forced to take a picture for her because I was afraid she would be angry with me if it turned out bad 😂. Anyway, I smile with my own photography and said that she is beautiful so she would be happy. Now we walk into the temple and the beauty of the temple makes us happy and amazed by the work of the ancestors who built this great temple.

By the way, I truly made a mistake the image comes out should be focused on her visibly, but it seems like more and more people standing there.

Wonderful Carving

An architecture of Ta Prohm temple isn't similar to other. For example as the iconic image I show you.

It was difficult to find any temple come with both tree roots and stone living with such the best thing. Nowadays, this spot seems to be a popular place for picturing as to show the world that you arrived at Ta Prohm temple.

Guide board for some details, but it also involved with the creation of Ta Prohm and the association with India.

Near the temple doors, I found an unidentified thing, but with this little appearance, it might be the feet of animals.

I assume this little space is a door because when I walked through this, it allows me to see the outdoor environment.

Bridge that used to be walking by tourists, but now the government here announced that it isn't available for passing anymore.

Walking about 3 more meters, at the right hand side you will see another wooden bridge. All the visitors both who come or leave have to walk here.

I missed some information related to this temple and some specific rules, suddenly seeing a group of people so I just joined them by just listening I think I should caught up with some details.

My niece climb to another building faster than me, she said we divided the place that we need to explore and end up meeting back at the entrance.

A piece of stone, located in some little part of the temple mostly surrounding the gate. They are falling apart, compare to that era, it was more beautiful than this as it ways more organized. I just sit and imagine feel like time fly so fast and everything that we didn't expect could be changed any time.

Tourists can get a good or a few is getting borings experience visiting this temple, but it isn't a big matter. There are still more and many tourists have rate their visited with a high point. Visiting this ancient site, sometimes we don't prefer for only the beauty at all, as long as it still exist we can get to learn more about Ta Prohm history by seeing how some part have changed.
