Forest Re-charge that Makes me smile

Last week after my tooth episode, the reason why I wasn't active for two weeks here in hive, hubby decided we go for a walk to recharge with nature. We went to the nearby forest trail inside Subic Bay. The weather was perfect, it was cool and windy not the typical hot summer days.
Hubby just parked our pick-up truck on the side of the road because we really did not go inside the forest trail park wherein you have to pay an entrance fee of One hundred fifty pesos or $3 for the parking. I was not up to the hike yet, I just want to smell the fresh air and be with the trees and the river.
There were a lot of vehicles in the parking lot, meaning there were a lot of mountain bikers up on the bike trails. This park has five bike trails that has become famous now because of their perfect runs. My son always go there every time he has his school break. A lot of bike enthusiasts from other places come here just to test and ride the bike trails.
I heard they were suppose to have a bike competition last December but was cancelled.
Hubby found a fellow biker since he used to be a bike enthusiast himself so while they were happily chatting. I went out of their way and I went alone into the nearby river in the forest.

Not a single soul was there, I was one with nature. I found a huge tree with huge vines, then I thought to myself this is probably what Tarzan was clinging to, it was so fat that it can really hold a person like
" The Rock" Mr. Dwayne Johnson himself! The Demi God in Moana! Haha
It also reminded me of our local food called pilipit, a cookie-bread that is twisted and sweet that resembles like this vine. Looking at it made me feel hungry while humming to the song,🎼🎶

Do you do that too? Do you like humming or even whistling. That's what I do when I am happy.😍😄

It's roots were also huge, it was like forming a wall.

I was so happy because all I could hear were the sound of the water from the river, the chirping of many different birds and the rustling of the leaves and the branches of trees swaying. It was truly a peaceful and tranquil feeling. Nature truly gives you this sense of calmness. I wanted to hug the tree but since I was alone and hubby was far from me. My kind was playing tricks on me thinking that there might be a big snake camouflaging itself on the tree, yikes! Haha.

I stayed there for a while and even made a rock art since there were a lot of beautiful rocks beside the river. I was busy looking for the perfect rocks so my rock art would balance and will not fall. It took me a while making it.

When I headed out from the forest and out into main road. I saw this beautiful, unique flower that I have never seen before. I looked around and saw no plant that has flowers like it. After my investigation I found out that it came from the trees above me. I guess the trees tried to help me find the source of this unique flower because while looking around another flower fell from the trees. It was a magical feeling because I saw the flower falling so gently and slowly as if for me to see where it came from. Haha. The trees read my mind.
I was puzzled because I know the names of the trees that were there which were mostly Mahogany trees and none of them have flowers like this.

Nature has its way of making us feel good and happy and better if you are feeling a little under the weather. Just like ai was when I was there but when I came out from the forest I really felt good.

While walking towards our vehicle hubby was behind me. He lost track of time while talking to his long time friends and forgot I was alone in the woods. But no harm done I know this place very well since we also help the local water district maintain the continuous flow of water in the river by doing quarterly river inspections.
