El día de mi cumpleaños, mis padres y hermana me hicieron un regalo especial: me inscribieron en un curso de oratoria. Desde muy chica lo quería hacer y tenía los recursos, pero siempre lo dejaba para después. Sin embargo, con la creación de contenido he logrado más soltura al momento de hablar, pero igual me falta muchísimo. Como asesora de ventas, me doy cuenta de las fallas que tengo al poder mantener conversación con un cliente o cerrar una venta. Todo esto es un arte. Así que, como les decía, me regalaron una masterclass. Fue hoy, me fui super temprano para llegar a la hora, pero estaba lloviendo y me mojé un poco. Pero logré llegar antes de la hora prevista; cuando entré al salón, me di cuenta de que había más personas de las que esperaba. Puras mujeres, solo un caballero. Mi esposo me acompañó y se regresó a casa. Me hubiera gustado hacer el curso con él. Será para el segundo módulo. Bueno, en el curso improvisamos, actuamos, hicimos ejercicio de respiración, muchas cosas que no tenía claras. También nos reímos, aprendimos y pasamos un momento interesante; siempre es bueno aprender algo nuevo y más si nos ayuda a tener las herramientas para nuestro trabajo o en el día a día. Tengo que practicar los ejercicios porque, si no, no estoy haciendo nada. La verdad, quedé contenta con los moderadores y los alumnos; todo el lugar, muy lindo. El conocimiento es poder.

However, creating content has helped me become more at ease when speaking, though I still have a long way to go. As a sales consultant, I notice the shortcomings I have when holding a conversation with a client or closing a sale. It is all an art form. So, as I was saying, they gifted me a masterclass. It took place today; I left very early to make sure I arrived on time, but it was raining, and I got a little wet. Still, I managed to arrive before the scheduled start time. When I walked into the room, I realized there were more people than I had expected—all women, except for one gentleman. My husband accompanied me there but then headed back home. I would have liked to take the course with him. Maybe for the second module. Anyway, during the course, we improvised, acted, and did breathing exercises—covering many things that hadn't been clear to me before. We also laughed, learned, and had an interesting time; it is always good to learn something new, especially when it equips us with tools for our work or our daily lives. I need to practice the exercises, because otherwise, it’s all for nothing. Honestly, I was very pleased with the instructors and the other students, and the venue itself was lovely. Knowledge is power.
