My Biology Teacher

Good day my fellow students of hive and happy weekend to you all. Talking about my best teacher today had gotten me so emotional. Yes, because it made me go down the memory lane. After, God and my parents, the next in my life that I'm grateful to is Mr Aderibigbe, popularly known as T.K. That's my best teacher, mentor, confidant and family. Mr T.K was my Biology teacher for three years and those years remained highly memorable for me.

I came from a very humble home but Mr Tk stood in gap all those years. He would buy me various textbooks, made sure I attend tutorials on weekends. He would pay for my tutorials and buy me medications whenever I was down. Long before I met him, I used to suffer from cold and cough. It used to be severe and worrisome. The doctors would prescribe drug and I would buy, only for it to come back few weeks after. It was like that for years until I got to senior secondary school 1, when I met my Biology teacher. He saw me cough that day and had this great compassion. He called my parents for consent and he took me for a test. The cause of the sickness was revealed and I was treated accordingly. Since then till now, I have been strong than ever.
Mr T.K has been my best teacher for so many reasons. His encouragement and moral advice was really helpful and kept me undefiled till I got married. I remember how we used to laugh in our Biology class whenever he was teaching us reproductive system. Lol! He really guided me and I'm glad, I followed his instructions. He fought me when he discovered that I had a boyfriend in secondary school. He told me it's an unhealthy relationship and ask me to break up with the boy. Thank God I did, the boy now has three wives to himself. Maybe I would have been one of them. God forbid! Lol!

Mr Tk, my Biology teacher is the best. I can't forget my 15th birthday. He prepared a whole chicken with rice and brought it to school for me and my friend. He was the same person that paid for my SSCE. He was a blessing to me. I wrote the exam and passed excellently. I gained admission into a prestigious university and became a graduate after all. Even now that I married and have started another phase of life, I can never forget my Biology teacher. He's the best.
