Do you know Upland? I bought my first virtual properties and these are my impressions. (English/Portuguese)

Ever I heard about virtual land, I quickly lost interest because I never had enough money to invest. But luckily, my time has come! This week I met Upland, a game that aims to sell virtual properties based on real-world addresses. The most beautiful thing about Upland is the possibility of buying land with little investment. For 5 dollars you can buy some UPX, the in-game currency, and that way, you can look for your first property. But I already advance that I don't recommend investing that little because it's hard to find a property for 5,000 UPX (which is worth 5 bucks). I invested 20 dollars and managed to buy good land in Rio de Janeiro.

Right when you enter the game, you gain land, which is also a highlight of the game. Even though this property is not such a good place, you can put it up for sale if you buy some other property first.

The game has an interesting proposal because it allows you to buy and sell lands classified by their rarity. And on top of that, there are various levels you can reach according to your patrimony, which is basically how much land you have in the game.

The best time to invest is when a new city appears on the map, that way you can buy the best points at launch and sell more expensive later. This week some new neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro were released, and that's when I entered and had the opportunity to buy properties in valued neighborhoods in Rio. My goal is to sell these properties for a much higher price so that when a new city opens on the map, I can buy bigger properties.

There are some things I'm still trying to understand in the game, after all, I started this week. But overall, I found it very intuitive. An important thing to mention is that the lands pay daily yields in UPX, these yields are good because you can save to buy more lands, or to move around the map when there is a treasure hunt, which is an event that allows you to earn much more UPX. The in-game economy seems to be very stable and intelligent and you feel like you're playing monopoly at times, only in this case you're making real money!

If you want to take a look at the game, I'd appreciate it if you use my referral link next: https://r.upland.me/ZceB. You get a bonus in UPX when buying your first property. As I go along and depending on the general interest that you will have through this post, I might consider writing about my progress and earnings regularly.

If you're interested and check out the game, let me know in the comments and we can talk about it!

Thanks for reading. @aiuna

@aiuna
