Sometimes it's really hard to be at a wedding.
As much as you love the man beside you and value his qualities, sometimes it's his faults that stand out.
When the flaws stand out, I feel trapped. I think: Is this where I want to be?
Don't get me wrong, my husband is a good man. He's loved by everyone in my family, he's a good father, and he's never given me a job like that: get drunk and come back the next day, or make me think he's cheating on me or anything like that.
But the thing is, sometimes he's an annoying and extremely jealous man, and that makes me want to leave.
On good days I am grateful for having such a beautiful family, but on bad days I really don't see the point in continuing a relationship I'm so charged with for no reason. I often feel trapped, and I just wish I could feel free, without pressure, without demands and without excessive jealousy.
How to handle it? Part of you really wants to leave, but the other part wants to stay. Which side of myself do I listen to? The only thing I know is that I'm using this experience, this new phase of marriage to get to know myself more, to know my limits and what binds me to my husband.
This is my first text for this community. I hope I can share a little more of myself here.
