Hodl(Hold on for dear life) is a term we all know in cryptocurrency but for the sake of newbies and novices in the crypto system, it is important to as well just explain or give some little details on how it works and what investors mean by it. Hodl is a term where investors hold on to their investment or more preferably crypto coins when prices fall without selling, or when they are not in the crypto system for the short term.

The crypto market is high in volatility, so it's normal to hold your crypto for as long as you deem fit and that as well is HODL. The high volatility of crypto has no doubt brought about the term HODL because that is what everyone literally does during the bear market or when the market is down.

Hodl for the rainy days is more like Holding on to your coins or investment until they are needed or when they will benefit you. The rainy days in this context is when there is a bull run. The bull run begins when you need to sell what you've been Holding on to because that is when you need it or when you might benefit from it.

When you HODL! You are practically saving for the rainy days and ICYMI(in case you missed it), Hodl also helps with loss, you risk losing a lot during a bear market if you're not holding and people who actually buy and hold during the Bea market are the real investors because that is literally one of the ways to earn money in crypto currency, this mostly pays people who are into the game for the long term.

I believe that the people who get the most out of crypto are the long term holders as they get to earn money over a long term and they also get a little bit of immunity to losing their money into the volatility of the market, and I also believe that the volatility is where they thrive and get money from because it works in the favour of the long term holders.

Hodl might seem like a big work but when done effectively and carefully, it will definitely turn to a big flex later on. It pays to Hodl for the rainy day as that will make you have coins available to sell when you really need it and there is a bull run.
