Abundance Tribe Biweekly Question: How do I keep myself grounded?

Being an extrovert can be an extreme sport sometimes. You get to be everywhere, seemingly doing everything and always in a high spirit that people fail to see that why you make them laugh, you're exhausted and down within.

Being an adult is so extreme a sport that some days I wish I could go back to being a child. Responsibilities here, bills there, and planning and living your goals on the other side.

The chaos from the rat race cycle of daily jobs and emergency calls. The drained soul at the end of each day's work and so many more I could think of.

When I'm so overwhelmed, I go back to nature, to connect back to the living things which doesn't speak in tangible words but in feelings.
To stay grounded, I take a walk, town drive or go to the field. I find a place to sit and cast looks on nature. I enjoy the serene evening atmosphere and gazing at the sky is one of the things I love to do. I love to imagine how the universe interplay to become what it is. It takes my mind away from the worries that plague it.
I usually go with a paper and pen as thoughts begin to accumulate and forms a poem, a prose or just plans of things to come.
I inhale and exhale deliberately, letting in all that oxygen goodness from plants into my lungs and exhale CO2 and the stress that accompanied it from within my soul.

I play music sometimes, one of my favorite artists being Lauren Daigle. I build castles in the air of what life could be in a couple of years should I stay focused.

I interact with the child in me and sing along wit the birds.

The best of all the ways is explained in this song lyrics, Dere du (Be still) by Henrisoul

When my heart is overwhelmed
Trouble feel like it won’t end
I will hold unto Your peace and rest in You
Situations standing tall and the mountains very high
I will never lose my faith, I will trust in You
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
I will hold unto Your peace and rest in You
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh …
I will never lose my faith, I will trust in You
[Chorus]
Obi m Dere Du atula ujo, obi m Dere Du
Chukwu mara ihe oma o ga emere mu o, obi m Dere Du
Obi m Dere Du adala mba, obi m Dere Du
Chukwu mara ihe oma o ga emere mu o, obi m Dere Du
Meaning:
My soul be still never be weary
My soul be at peace the Lord knows what is perfect for me
My soul be at peace

[Verse 2]
Jesus You have taken away my pain o, You’ve taken my shame
At the cross You did it all for me
Now my soul has found rest in You, yes I have peace in You
I have found grace in You, oh my savior.

I like to think of the Cross, I like to think of Jesus, His love for me and sacrifice to set me free. This get me grounded every single time.
It gives me the ability to stay calm and connect to the core of who I am in the face of uncertainty.
