Jumping Spider of the Genus Telamonia

These photos were taken by me in a local forest in the North Aceh region. A jumping spider crawling on leaves, with the following physical characteristics: the head and abdomen are yellow with red stripes, and the face and legs are brown and furry.

From these physical characteristics, I think this is a spider of the genus Telamonia or what is commonly called the two-striped jumper. Also, from these physical characteristics, it is very likely that this is a male spider because the female usually has a lighter body color. The genus Telamonia was first described by Tamerlan Thorell in 1887.

That is a cool-looking spider! And it looks like he's ready for action!

Love the two sets of eyues. Most likely the top set is for scaring off would-be predators from trying to sneak up on him.
