Monomad: 'Bird Nest'

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes.

This time I'm showing the bird's nest macro photos that I edited in black and white. The bird's nest is without occupants; there are only eggs piled in it.

You might think these are real bird nests, but they aren't at all. Yeah, they are Cyathus striatus mushrooms.

Because its shape is very similar to a bird's nest, it is called the bird's nest fungi. The eggs that are piled up inside are not actually eggs, but Peridioles or spore capsules.
