Merry Christmas everyone.

It has been a few days since I last posted, so before I start rambling on about the cosmic dust pushes us along our mothership Earth. I was to take the time to greet you all a very Merry Christmas.

For the last 4 days I have spent my Christmas with my family in a coal mining town called Musswellbrook. A mining town. It supports AUstralia in its trade economy. I am not an expert on this so I will end that the city's intro there.

It took about 3 hours to reach from Sydney.

Here we go.

It was not a very long drive. In fact the only reason it took 3 hours was because I had a trailer full to make my journey a slow ride.

It's about the view.

The trip was worth its while as the time flew like the kilometers passed on by. With the air conditioning keeping the trip at 22 degrees (ambient room temperature).

A party deserves to have a portrait of the attendees.

With only a fifth of the family in attendance. It was an intimate occasion with lots of little conversations that did not seem like a concert of conversations. That is what mattes the strengthening of relationships.

And of course you need to have a good meal to feed everyone! Yes, you heard that right. The pig on the spit is my son. Well, first off we named the pig George, the little brother of Peppa. But that was turned down by the kids who overheard the conversation so we, as in me, decided that George needs a background story so came up with the son. LOL

And matching shirts, with copious amounts of drinks.

The women decided we should look good without overshadowing each other so matching shirts was the order of the day.

And kids activities on a hot summers day.

The kids must have their energies used up so the adults have a good time later.

Then its the activities in the dark after most have gone to bed. Where the real discussions are done for the following year ahead.
