A good day start with your soul being fed

My slumber was broken by distant sounds of fireworks going of into the early hours before the sun rise.

Having slept at midnight I felt groggy but could not go back to sleep or do I thought. I dozed off an extra hour to about six them my stomach forced me to look for sustenance.

I took a cold shower, freshened up then headed out the door looking for food. Walking for about a block I could not find food then I remembered my mum asking me to attend St Nino Basilica mass for #sinulog I hailed a taxi. It was not a long ride and the crowds were everywhere I turned.

I heard lots of music and walked the other way, Lucky I used Google maps or I would've wandered into the sunset or God knows where.

Mass. In bisaya, the struggle was real. I could only understand about fifty percent of the mass but I just followed the cues I knew from going to church.

The mass ended and can't not get a selfie... Lol
