Learning Digital Drawing - Portrait Study With Grayscale [Eng-Esp]
Hello community, this time I want to show you this portrait study that I have done, in which I have focused on achieving a stylized face, below I leave you the images of the process.
Que tal comunidad, en esta ocasion quiero mostrarles este estudio de retrato que he realizado, en el cual me he enfocado en lograr un rostro estilizado, a continuacion les dejo las imagenes del proceso.
Process 📝 Proceso
For the sketch I only needed to make one since I had already drawn a lot and was in good shape so I was able to fit the pose quite quickly, after this I painted with grays of different values to start the gray scale.
Para el boceto solo requeri hacer uno ya que ya habia dibujado bastante y estaba en buena forma asi que pude encajar bastante rapido la pose, despues de esto pinte con grises de diferentes valores para ir empezar la escala de grises.
For the studies I always like to do the painting with gray scale since it allows me to better practice the values, after having established the values as best I could, I proceeded to give base colors and then add brightness and details.
Para los estudios siempre me gusta hacer la pintura con escala de grises ya que me permite practicar de mejor forma los valores, luego de haber establecido los valores lo mejor que pude procedi a dar colores bases para despues agregar brillos y detalles.
After having the values defined and applying the base colors, I proceeded to add stronger highlights and shadows using different layers, I also added a background that would contrast with the color palette of the portrait and I made a border to remove it a bit from the background; and that was all for this portrait study, until next time bye bye
Luego de tener los valores definidos y aplicar los colores base procedi a agregar brillos y sombras mas fuertes valiendome de diferentes capas, tambien agregue un fondo que constrastara con la paleta de colores del retrato e hice un borde para sacarlo un poco del fondo; y esto fue todo por este estudio de retrato, hasta la proxima chauuuuu
