A coffee for rhinitis ☕ [ENG] / [SPA]

A big greeting to all this beautiful coffee-loving community. Today I want to share with you how I have been reducing the discomfort caused by allergic rhinitis.

A few days ago I was investigating about this disease and I could realize that there is a great enemy that activates allergies, sugar. All this led me to a deep reflection and I began to analyze the reaction of my body to this ingredient. I was able to confirm that it was indeed activating my rhinitis.

How does coffee improve rhinitis?

Popular wisdom has a lot of confidence in the healing power of coffee. I remembered that one morning I had an excessive cough that would not go away and my mother told me to gargle with coffee without sugar and it calmed me down.

Researching further I was able to find that coffee controls histamine levels in the body, which makes sense since drinking hot coffee brings relief from discomfort. When we are in rhinitis crisis everything is solved by taking some antihistamine medication, as coffee has this controlling property it becomes a great ally for our health.

However, experts warn that if sugar is added to coffee it loses its controlling effect since sugar triggers histamine and makes the body react through some symptoms, such as sneezing and runny nose.

As a result, I decided to follow up on my particular case. For this reason I suspended the consumption of the foods to which I am allergic, I also decreased the consumption of sugar and believe me I have noticed a great improvement.

How did I do it?

First of all, I started drinking coffee without sugar or milk. Daily I drink two cups of black coffee without sugar, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

I know that many people wrinkle their faces when they imagine a coffee without sugar and milk, previously I wouldn't even think of doing this, but necessity led me to make this decision; whatever you set your mind to, you will achieve it if you make the right decisions to improve your health.

Secondly, I started to drink natural fruit juices without adding sugar. I eliminated sodas and other drinks that contain a lot of sugar.

The result:

I have noticed a considerable improvement to my allergies so I can affirm that in my case black coffee, no milk and no sugar is doing its healing effect on my body.


⚠️ I do not intend to give scientific health advice, I only know that I did the test as I explained above and it has worked for me. Everyone should seek medical attention, once you know the causes of your rhinitis you can try if coffee without sugar and milk improves your allergic condition, I clarify it must be without sugar and milk.


As for me the consumption of foods with lactose activates my rhinitis, that is why I avoid the consumption of dairy products.

I can testify that with the consumption of coffee, without sugar and without milk, my body has become more resistant to allergies and the discomfort caused by allergic rhinitis has decreased notably.

Coffee is healing and has many benefits to the organism. We only need to get rid of excesses to be able to take advantage of its innumerable benefits.

Un gran saludo para toda esta bella comunidad amante del café. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la manera como he ido disminuyendo las molestias causadas por la rinitis alérgica.

Hace algunos días estuve indagando sobre esta enfermedad y pude darme cuenta que existe un gran enemigo que activa las alergias, el azúcar. Todo esto me llevó a una profunda reflexión y comencé a analizar la reacción de mi cuerpo ante este ingrediente. Pude constatar que efectivamente me activaba la rinitis.

Como mejora el café la rinitis?

La sabiduría popular tiene mucha confianza en el poder sanador del café. Recordé que una madrugada tenía un exceso de tos que no se calmaba y mi madre me dijo que hiciera gárgaras de café sin azúcar y se me calmo.

Investigando más pude encontrar que el café controla los niveles de histamina en el cuerpo, cosa que tiene lógica ya que al tomar café caliente se siente un alivio a las molestias. Cuando estamos en crisis de rinitis todo se resuelve tomando algún medicamento antihistamínico, al tener el café está propiedad controladora se convierte en un gran aliado para la salud.

No obstante, los expertos alertan que si se le agrega azúcar al café este pierde su efecto controlador ya que el azúcar dispara la histamina y hace que el cuerpo reaccione a través de algunos síntomas, tales como los estornudos y el goteo nasal.

A raíz de esto me propuse hacerle un seguimiento a mi caso particular. Por tal razón suspendí el consumo de los alimentos a los que soy alérgica, también disminui el consumo de azúcar y créanme que he notado una gran mejoría.

Como lo logré?

En primer lugar empecé tomando el café sin azúcar y sin leche. Diariamente me tomo dos tazas de café negro sin azúcar, una en la mañana y otra en la tarde.

Se que muchos arrugan la cara al imaginarse un café sin azúcar y sin leche, anteriormente yo ni pensaría en hacer esto pero la necesidad me llevo a tomar esta decisión; lo que te propongas lo lograrás si tomas decisiones acertadas para mejorar tu salud.

En segundo lugar comencé a tomar los jugos de frutas naturales sin agregar azúcar. Eliminé las gaseosas y otras bebidas que contienen mucha azúcar.

El resultado:

He notado una considerable mejoría a mis alergias por lo que puedo afirmar que en mi caso el café negro, sin leche y sin azúcar está haciendo su efecto sanador en mi cuerpo.


⚠️ No pretendo dar un consejo de salud con carácter científico, solo se que hice la prueba como lo expliqué anteriormente y me ha funcionado. Cada quien debe buscar atención médica, una vez que conozca las causas de su rinitis puede probar si el café sin azúcar y sin leche mejora su condición alérgica, aclaro debe ser sin azúcar y sin leche.


Como a mi el consumo de alimentos con lactosa me activa la rinitis, por eso evito el consumo de lácteos.

Yo puedo dar testimonio de que con el consumo de café, sin azúcar y sin leche, mi cuerpo se ha vuelto más resistente a las alergias y han disminuido notablemente las molestias causadas por la rinitis alérgica.

El café es sanador y tiene muchos beneficios al organismo. Sólo debemos librarnos de los excesos para poder aprovechar de sus innumerables bondades.
