Red Rowan Eaters

This is my response to the call of @nelinoeva to respond to the topic of BIRDS IN AUTUMN.





Autumn is probably the most fertile time for many birds. Fruits and vegetables ripen, which birds are not averse to eating. But in the city, probably, fruits and vegetables are not so easy to find, except at sellers on the street. But the berries are quite accessible to birds. In our cities, you can find a lot of red rowan in parks. And not only in parks. It often grows near houses. So I was able to meet such a tree with bright red ripe berries. And for some reason they were tasted by magpies. Usually mountain ash is eaten by other birds. But, apparently, magpies are not averse to eating this berry.

Осень для многих птиц, наверное, самое благодатное время. Созревают фрукты и овощи, которыми птицы не прочь полакомиться. Но в городе, наверное, это не так легко можно найти, а вот ягоды вполне доступны для птиц. В наших городах можно встретить в парках много красной рябины. И не только в парках. Часто она растет рядом с домами. Вот и я смог встретить такое дерево с ярко-красными спелыми ягодами. И почему-то их пробовали на вкус сороки. Обычно рябину съедают другие птицы. Но, видимо, и сороки не прочь полакомиться этой ягодой.

Кстати, к слову будет добавить, что под деревом прыгали голуби и подъедали упавшие ягоды. Я думаю, что они были сладкими, потому что дня за два до этого был хороший заморозок.


How can this magpie just sit on a relatively thin wire and not fall. She doesn't even balance on it. Of course, if the wind was blowing, it would be difficult, but that's how she could easily sit.

Как эта сорока может так просто сидеть на относительно тонкой проволоке и не падать. Она даже не балансирует на ней. Конечно, если бы дул ветер, то это было бы сложно, но вот так она запросто могла сидеть.
