Theater Square. Constitution Square

Hello friends.

I'm not a wizard or a magician, I'm just learning to be one.

Wednesday is a day for walking.

At the end of October, I decided to look at our central city square, which was once called Theater Square, then in Soviet times the square was called Constitution Square, and after the death of the Soviet Union, the square was returned to its former name. This is such a game in Russia - renaming streets, squares, villages, and cities. And even the change of the names of the republics and the state itself. And everything would be fine, but people suffer from these name changes. They often have to change various documents - an identity card, registration of residence, and registration of immovable and movable property.

The time of my walk was after work. We have a short daylight day now, and if there is still a day without sun, then it is completely dark at 4 pm. I promised my wife to meet her after work, but along the way, I decided to take a walk on the Square. I very rarely visit this place. And if there are, then in passing. Sometimes I go to the drama theater. And a couple of times I marched on foot past the Regional Administration, which is called the "Gray House".

Of course, there is a stone Lenin in front of this house. No central square in the Russian Federation can do without a statue of this "Leader of the Proletariat". Almost all the former Soviet republics destroyed these statues at home, but the Russian leadership honors these monuments because the leadership itself is a continuation of the CPSU and the very system of government has remained the same.

I saw how 5-6 years ago young people could hang out near this monument, sit and have fun. But I think that now you can earn yourself a real term under the criminal article "Insulting veterans of the Great Patriotic War". Times have become difficult in this state. Russia began to turn more and more into the new USSR, in a more perverted form, under the pretext of the memory of the great war.

I want to say that I left my car about five hundred meters away. There are no parking spaces closer. They are simply forbidden.

Shopping center "Teatro". There is a bookstore on the ground floor of this Shopping Center. I periodically buy the books I need there. But I have practically no time to read them. But my mom reads books.

I go to the square in a roundabout way. Once upon a time, my friends girls lived in this house. It was back in 1987. And there was also a police stronghold in which a Volunteer squad was organized - this is when ordinary people walked with red armbands on their sleeves and allegedly guarded order on the streets together with the police.
I once also fell under such a different order. And the cop, a young guy, got to the man who was walking home past the statue of Lenin and took him to this stronghold, under the pretext that he was drunk and insulted the memory of the Great Leader of the working people with his appearance.

I studied in this building for 5 years. It used to be called Kirov Polytechnic Institute. Now it has a different name, I don't even know exactly what this university is called. It was a fun 5 years, student youth.

Previously, this building was called "the 2nd building of the Institute". Now it is a separate institute within the University.

By the way, these are the cars of officials, ordinary people cannot put cars here.

And this is the Drama Theater, after which the central square of Vyatka was once named!

The balcony! And I've never noticed it before. This is because I have never looked at the theater carefully. Walked up, walked in, walked out, walked away.

Fountain. In Soviet times, it was the only fountain in the city. It was of a completely different design. In summer, there are a lot of people in this place both day and night. This is where guys meet girls. I used to hang out here, too. And now the fountain is closed for the winter.

Well, my beloved Polytech, goodbye, see you again.

I worked in this window when I was a sophomore at the institute. Often it was night shifts. There was an Information and computing center and there were large computers! Huge in size.
That's the end of my little nostalgic walk!

I give 5% of the reward to @archon, and he thanks me for it. Do you do it?
