Winter City Pond

I'm not a wizard or a magician, I'm just learning to be one.

Wednesday is a day for walking.

3 days ago I wrote about a walk in Kocharovsky Park. But that day I also took a walk in the Circus area near the pond. I did a few laps around the pond. And I will say that all my attention was focused on the Ferris wheel. It is called the "Damn wheel" in Russia.
I saw two girls with cameras taking pictures of each other against the background of this wheel. This is probably the only noticeable object in the city.
There were a lot of people with smartphones pointing in the same direction and at flocks of ducks.


But I'll start in order.
I got hungry after a walk in Kochurovsky Park and decided to have a snack at McDonald's. I rarely visit such establishments, but this time I had a lot of time and a desire to sit and relax.
After lunch, I went towards the pond.
Dusk came and multicolored lights were turned on on the wheel.

Well, friends, I went for a walk around the pond. I invite you to come with me. This is the first time I walk in this place in winter. The construction of the Ferris wheel revived the pond. A pedestrian path was specially made, lanterns were installed and an interesting festive illumination was made. I am glad that something has started to be done for the better in our city.



Traces on the surface of the pond, or rather on the snow that lies on the ice. It's fishermen walking around. That evening I also saw a fisherman.

How I used to love going to the circus. Very. But I haven't been there for at least 5 years. Oh, there will be grandchildren, I will take them to the circus.



When I saw so many ducks on the pond, I was even a little stunned. I have never seen such a large concentration of ducks per square meter of water. I thought that the ducks I met a month ago on Moskovskaya Street were the largest number of them. But I was wrong.






Here is such entertainment for children - to feed the birds. And the ducks rush right under their feet, grab their hands. The girl even told her parents - I'm afraid of them, they'll bite me.



This photo was taken from the bridge, under which the water passes from the upper pond to the lower through a small cascade system. By the way, ducks fly under the bridge. It looks like a lot of fun.






At the bottom of the water cascade, the ducks concentrated on a small area. Here the water brings food for them and the ducks use it.



It's time for me to move towards home. I've had enough of looking at ducks. But I heard children's voices and headed in that direction. Children rode on inflatable special wheels in the snow from the mountains. It's good to be a child!!!!






Fun for kids. Carefree to them. Roll down, run up and down again!






One last look at the Ferris wheel. Friends, I definitely like this view. Although I am not spoiled by outlandish urban landscapes.
