Trip to Macro Cork Oak Path - S.Justa Valongo | Portugal

Contrary to what was being announced, today the weather was conducive to a brief trip to do a little exercise and walk some more trails in the Santa Justa mountains, but i still have to prepare these records which i will publish in one or two articles later.
Using some more records that i have in reserve, also made on the way to some place.
During these hikes, when i propose to make some records, as soon as i find a place with interesting subjects, i usually combine with my wife a place ahead where she can stop for a while to play with our daughter and at the same time wait for me to start walking again.

In order to make these records, some time is always needed to identify the most interesting subjects that normally go unnoticed, such as small plants that sprout through the holes in the stones, or spider webs with a small spider weaving their web or simply waiting for the prey and even walking behind that bee that never decides to land on a flower so that it is possible for me to register as clearly as possible, which is not always easy, but i still managed to register enough allow me to share here some of the subjects i mentioned above.
Photographing outdoors using the inverted lens technique is equivalent to a deep dive without an oxygen bottle, and whoever does it understands perfectly what i am talking about, it is extremely complicated to fit the subject in that reduced focus radius and get a focus minimally acceptable, especially when it is windy and the subject keeps moving.

My introductory thoughts about macro photography:

It's amazing how macros with their blurred background can result in such different images full of contrasts and textures especially with this kind of subjects.
In the world of photography, especially macro photography, there is a universe of things available to everyone, enabling totally different and original approaches.

Before moving onto the result...

Feel free to check some of the previous macro photography sessions with a technique short description:

Here i present the technique used through a short visual tutorial:

Among the various possible techniques to shoot macros, this is perhaps the most affordable and effective technique for those who have a camera with removable lens.
We can simply remove the lens and reverse the direction, and by using an inverter ring it ends up being more comfortable and facilitates the process.

Let's now move onto the result:

It's really hard to focus when the subject keeps moving hahah, but when we are able to take a nice shot, the results are amazing! :D

Yes, it is quite difficult to achieve the expected result, but when we manage to take that sharp picture it is always a moment of satisfaction :) Btw thank you for stopping by :)
