"It doesn't matter how long you've been here. It will happen. Your face will float in this space, with many others, trying not to be devoured by whales or scammers, enduring pointing fingers, scrutinizing eyes, complacent or prickly comments... Doing everything possible to keep that creative magic alive.
And many times, for a while, you will fail. The tongues and fingers and eyes, oftentimes your own, will overwhelm you and you'll cower in fear and self-doubt.
But eventually you will grow the wings you were told were impossible, and learn to fly. Many times you will feel that you do not deserve the flight, and that the wings do not belong to you. But the more you use them, the more familiar they will become.
You will use many masks, but remember that they are not you- they do not even belong to you, and they will fall off sooner or later. Keep enough of them to perform your act, but not too many, so that everyone can recognize you."

A few months ago I had the opportunity to go to Lisbon, to the @NFCsummit, where I met incredible people that I admire and consider my friends. People from all over the world that I met through Steemit, Hive and CryptoTwitter.

My latest artwork, "The Nature of Impostor Syndrome," was inspired by a conversation I had with the amazing [Cechk] (https://twitter.com/cechk_art). Since I started with Cryptoart I know her work. Her color palette is consistent and her work is mesmerizing. But meeting her in person made her even more fascinating to my eyest.

This very young woman is kind and wise, and that is not common in someone her age (or mine, or older, or any age). After meeting her, I love her work even more. She is an incredible artist and an amazing person 🌟 In the short time we shared in Lisbon, Cechk and I created a bond of friendship and understanding that only reminds me that I belong to a place, that there are people and artists with which I have a lot in common, and that these friendships I am sure will last a lifetime.

Hace unos meses tuve la oportunidad de ir a Lisboa, a la @NFCsummit, donde conocí gente increíble a la que admiro y considero mis amigos. Personas de todo el mundo que conocí a través de Steemit, Hive y CryptoTwitter.

Mi última obra de arte, "La naturaleza del síndrome del impostor", se inspiró en una conversación que tuve con la increíble Cechk. Desde que empecé con el Cryptoarte conozco su trabajo. Su paleta de colores es consistente y su trabajo es fascinante. Pero conocerla en persona hizo que quedara aún más fascinada por la artista.

Esta joven mujer es amable y sabia, y eso no es común en alguien de su edad (ni de la mía, ni mayor, ni de ninguna edad). Después de haberla conocido, amo aún más su trabajo. Ella es una artista increíble y una persona cada vez más increíble 🌟 En el corto tiempo que compartimos en Lisboa, Cechk y yo creamos un lazo de amistad y comprensión que solo me recuerda que pertenezco a un lugar, que hay personas y artistas con las que tengo mucho en común, y que estas amistades estoy segura que durarán para toda la vida.
