For today's daily practices, I did these classic studies of the canon of the human body, and also of the face. As you know, there are many ways to study the anatomy of the human body, this form I did is one of the most basic of all, lace is made taking into account certain measurements based on a predetermined number of heads, for different ages.
In the case of men the amount that an adult body should measure would be 8 heads, the same applies to female bodies, in some cases can be done from seven and a half heads.
Para las practicas diarias de hoy, estuve haciendo estos estudios clásicos del canon del cuerpo humano, y también de la cara. Como ya saben hay muchas formas de estudiar la anatomía del cuerpo humano, esta forma que yo hice es una de las mas básicas de todas el encaje se hace tomando en cuenta ciertas medidas en base a una cantidad predeterminada de cabezas, para distintas edades.
En el caso de hombres la cantidad que debería medir un cuerpo adulto sería de 8 cabezas, lo mismo aplica para los cuerpos femeninos, solo que en algunos casos puedes hacerlo de siete cabezas y medio.
For children's bodies the number of heads equivalent to the body decreases and varies depending on age, in the case of a child about 14-15 years old would be 7 heads, for one of 8-12 years it would be about 5 and a half heads or 6 heads, for babies about 4-6 years old it would be about 5 heads and less of this would be 4 or up to 2 heads.
Para los cuerpos de niños la cantidad de cabezas equivalentes al cuerpo disminuye y varían dependiendo de la edad, en el caso de un niño de unos 14-15 años serían 7 cabezas, para uno de 8-12 años serían unas 5 cabezas y medio o 6 cabezas, para bebés de unos 4-6 años serían unas 5 cabezas y menores de esto serían 4 o hasta 2 cabezas.
Now we move on to the classic canon of the head, I'll show you the ones I made for a male head, a female head, and one of a baby, both front and profile.
When it was my turn to study these canons for the first time, it seemed to me that the measurements of the human face were quite interesting and how all this applies to reality. Small data such as that your face measures 3 times your nose, that the space between your eyes is another eye or the alignment that has the face proportional to each part are super curious.
In addition, all this data when you learn it, you will be able to create faces more easily because you know the basis and the proportion and making mistakes will be a little more difficult.
Ahora pasamos al canon clásico de la cabeza, les mostraré los que hice para una cabeza masculina, una femenina, y una de un bebé, tanto frontal como de perfil.
Cuando me tocó estudiar por primera vez estos canones me parecieron bastante interesantes las medidas que tiene el rostro humano y como todo esto se aplica a la realidad. Pequeños datos como que tu cara mide 3 veces tu nariz, que el espacio entre tus ojos es otro ojo o la alineación que tiene el rostro desde cada parte son super curiosos.
Además que todos estos datos cuando ya los aprendes puedes crear rostros con mayor facilidad porque conoces la base de esta proporción y equivocarte sera un poco mas difícil.
If you look at the profile, the ears are always aligned with the nose, which tells you that for any face the size of the ears is proportional to that of the nose, and already with the nose you can also measure the proportion of the whole face.
Si nos fijamos en el perfil, las orejas siempre están alineadas con la nariz, lo que te dice que para cualquier cara el tamaño de las orejas es proporcional al de la nariz, y ya con la nariz también se puede medir la proporción de toda la cara.
In the end when I re-study the canon again I was able to learn how important it is to know it, you can omit it and learn to draw faces of other methods, but they will all lead you to this canon somehow.
So artist friend, this also applies to anyone, I invite you to study again whenever you can all you need, it is good to re-practice something you know to reinforce learning, you can even learn something you hadn't noticed the previous time.
Al final al volver a estudiar el canon nuevamente pude aprender lo importante que es conocerlo, puedes omitirlo y aprender a dibujar rostros de otros métodos, pero todos te llevarán a este canon de alguna forma.
Así que amigo dibujante, y esto aplica también para cualquier persona, te invito a repasar siempre que puedas los conocimientos que te hagan falta, nunca esta de mas volver a practicar algo que sepas para reforzar ese aprendizaje, capaz hasta aprendes algo que no habías tomado en cuenta la vez anterior.
