Joking aside, the excursion that I show you today is really a gem.

This is Brent de l'Art in the province of Belluno.
A semi-unknown place, surrounded by nature and little visited.

A parte gli scherzi l'escursione che vi mostro oggi è proprio una chicca.

Si tratta di Brent de l'Art in provincia di Belluno.
Un posto semi sconosciuto, immerso nella natura e poco visitato.

After a few minutes' walk from the car park, near a football field, you come to an asphalted road that cuts a landscape that looks like a painting in two.

Very short cut grass that looks like a golf course with a belt of trees and mountains in the background.

An environment that instills serenity.

Dopo alcuni minuti a piedi dal parcheggio dell'auto, vicino ad un campo da calcio, si arriva ad una strada asfaltata che taglia in due un paesaggio che pare un quadro.

Erba tagliata cortissima che sembra un campo da golf e sullo sfondo una cintura di alberi e le montagne.

Un ambiente che infonde serenità.

After a kilometer the road is no longer asphalted and gently descends.

We are not yet in Brent de l'Art, you must first reach a lower altitude ... then you will see why.

Dopo un chilometri la strada non è più asfaltata e con dolcezza si fa più in discesa.

Non siamo ancora a Brent de l'Art, bisogna prima raggiungere una quota più bassa...poi vedrete perchè.

The route passes near a few isolated houses. You do not move further and further away from the inhabited center and you feel the fresh, clean air, only the sounds of nature.

This is an orchidological site, I will definitely be back in the spring and summer to take some floral photos.

The Brent de l'Art is a natural conformation, very similar to a canyon, due to thousands of years of erosion by water, which has brought to light layers of rock formed millions of years ago.

This erosion is due to the debris that the water carries in these narrow valleys. Stones and plants overwhelmed by the flood of water, once they enter the canyon they create whirlpools, they hit the walls, digging into the rock and then flow downstream.

Then I came to this stone artifact, I still haven't understood what it is, unfortunately there was nothing written in the nearby sign.

Sono giunto poi a questo manufatto in pietra, non ho ancora capito cos'è, purtroppo nel cartello lì vicino non c'era scritto niente.

I tried to continue, but it was late and as soon as I entered the vegetation it was really shady.
I absolutely have to go back in the summer months!

Devo assolutamente tornarci nei mesi estivi!

So I decided to go back to calmly go up the path.

I took advantage of taking some more photos from the bridge...the bridge has a particular history, just think from there
the inhabitants also let the dead pass through at night to avoid paying the duties that in the past were usually used during transit from one municipality to another.

Ho approffittato per scattare qualche altra foto dal ponte...il ponte ha una storia particolare, pensate che da lì
gli abitanti facevano passare anche i defunti di notte per evitare di pagare i dazi che in passato erano abitualmente in uso durante il transito un comune all’altro.
