Excursion to Gorghi Scuri - Marostica - Discovering Italy with alequandro!
Hello everyone! With today's post, the exploration of the surroundings of Marostica in the province of Vicenza continues.
This time I visited a place called Gorghi Scuri, one of the most popular walks on the Venetian hills.

Questa volta ho visitato un luogo che si chiama Gorghi Scuri, una delle camminate più frequentate sui colli veneti.
You can get to the dark gorges from different points, I found it convenient to park the car in a small village called Capo di Sopra, and from there I followed the directions.
To welcome me there was a nice donkey.

Si può arrivare ai Gorghi scuri da diversi punti, io ho trovato comodo parcheggiare l'auto in un piccolo borgo che si chiama Capo di Sopra, da lì ho seguito le indicazioni.
Ad accogliermi c'era un simpatico asino.
The best time to do this excursion I think is spring and summer.
In this period, with the sun low, there are various shaded areas, however it is still a beautiful natural environment.

In questo periodo, con il sole basso, ci sono varie zone d'ombra però è comunque un bell'ambiente naturale.

The educational signs present are complete and illustrate in detail the flora, fauna but also the orogeny of this territory.

The landscape is varied, there are wetlands and lakes but also a small stream which forms small waterfalls along its route.

The altitude is around 200 meters until it reaches 300 at the highest point.
This territory is hilly and also for this reason it is fascinating. It's very varied, you can do many excursions that I'm discovering a little at a time.

The stream flows about ten meters below the path and can only be seen from a few points.

The area in this period is all in the shade and from afar you could see the sun going down.
I decided that this would be the point of arrival, so I took a few minutes to appreciate that beautiful place.

Poi ho risalito il sentiero che passa vicino all'edificio per godere di una vita più panoramica....

I didn't have waterproof boots to cross the creek, plus it was late, so I settled for it and went back to the car.

Non avevo gli scarponi impermeabili per attraversare il torrente, inoltre era tardi, così mi sono accontentato e sono tornato verso l'auto.
It was a pleasant and short walk that gave me the opportunity to discover a beautiful place, perhaps to visit again in the spring!

E' stata una camminata piacevole e breve che mi ha dato l'occasione di scoprire un bel luogo, magari da visitare nuovamente in primavera!

Che spettacolo questo sentiero, abito a pochi chilometri da Marostica e non lo conoscevo, devo assolutamente andarci con la mia compagna e il cane, sembra proprio si respiri natura a 360 gradi li, tra cascatelle e animali. Bel post e grazie per la condivisione, perchè ci andrò sicuramente un weekend ;). Buona serata.
Ciao! Si, credo che in primavera offra il meglio. Io ho solo percorso un breve tratto, da quello che ho visto offre buone possibilità di per passeggiate.
Immagino, quei corsi d'acqua e le cascatelle tra il verde e il colore dei fiori sarebbe ancor più di impatto. Buono a sapersi che offre percorsi molto sviluppati, grazie ;). Passa un buon weekend!
