Winter Walk in Cassanego - Discovering Italy with alequandro!

Hello everyone! I finally managed to find the time to start walking again!

I admit I am definitely out of shape...I hadn't walked long distances for a couple of months, so I decided to start with a simple walk in Cassanego, in the province of Treviso.

Ciao a tutti! Finalmente sono riuscito a trovare il tempo di ricomiciare a fare qualche camminata!

Ammetto di essere decisamente fuori forma...era da un paio di mesi che non camminavo per tragitti lunghi, così ho deciso di cominciare con una semplice passeggiata a Cassanego, nella provincia di Treviso.

Cassanego is located at the foot of Monte Grappa, so the landscape is beautiful!

Cassanego si trova ai piedi del Monte Grappa, quindi il paesaggio è bellissimo!

I parked near the church in the village, then just a chat with two feathered friends and I set off.

Ho parcheggiato vicino alle chiesa del paese, poi giusto due chiacchere con due amici pennuti e mi sno messo in cammino.

Besides the fruits of a piracanta plant, the snow-capped peaks of Monte Grappa...it's always beautiful!

Oltre i frutti di una pianta di piracanta, le cime innevate del Monte Grappa...è sempre bello!

Along the road there are vineyards, meadows, olive trees and rural houses.

Lungo la strada si susseguono, vigneti, prati, olivi e case rurali.

The day was beautiful. Now the temperatures are milder and it's really good.

It was more or less 10°C

La giornata era stupenda. Ora le temperature sono più miti e si sta veramente bene.

C'erano più o meno 10°C.

At one point you pass a cattle farm and a nice cow seemed to ask me with its eyes:

Hey you, come here!
Free me, I want to be free like you! Let's graze together!

In un punto si costeggia un allevamento di bovini e una simpatica mucca sembrava chiedermi con lo sguardo:

Hey tu, vieni qui!
Liberami, voglio essere libera come te! Pascoliamo assieme!

I had to refrain from freeing it and continued...to the left the mountains to the right the plain with the bell towers of the various villages that stand out.

Ho dovuto trattenermi dal liberarla e ho proseguito...a sinistra le montagne a destra la pianura con i campanili dei vari paesetti che svettano.

This is a nice route to do by bike, at some point you can choose to take a stone path through the woods.

Questo è un bel percorso da fare in bici, ad un certo punto si può scegliere di prendere un sentiero di sassi per il bosco.

Sarà per un'altra volta!

It was time to go home and the sun right in front of me was challenging me to keep my eyes open.

ITA

Era ora di andare a casa e il sole proprio di fronte a me mi sfidava a tenere gli occhi aperti.
