FungiFriday - Orange Bonnet (Mycena acicula)

avatar

This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw

Yesterday I go to an oil palm plantation located in Serba Jaman Tunong village, Tanah Luas, North Aceh, Indonesia. I have visited this location several times and sometimes I return home without an interesting photo object. However, this time luck was still on my side. Yeah, at least I managed to get some pretty orange mushrooms.

Is Mycena acicula, the orange bonnet belonging to the Mycenaceae family. And I found this orange fungus growing on oil palm leaves that were starting to rot. There I saw them growing in several places, some growing alone and some at the same time on one oil palm leaf.

Below I have uploaded some of the mushrooms that I mean, of course with the hope that all of you can be interested and like it. Thank you :)
