That morning, farmers were scattered over a large area of land as seen in the rice fields of Serbajaman Tunong village, a remote village located in North Aceh, Indonesia.

While enjoying the fresh and beautiful morning air, I didn't forget to bring a macro lens that I put in my pants pocket in the hope that while I was walking leisurely in the rice fields I could get a photo object.

The residents' rice fields began to be flooded because it had just rained heavily last night. And I saw that several rice fields had started to germinate the seeds of rice plants in the nursery.

Suddenly I saw a twig stuck in the ground at the edge of the rice field, there were dozens of golden snail eggs and some of them were attached to wild plants on the edge of the rice field, then I approached to take a photo.

The golden snail or mulberry snail (Pomacea canaliculata) is a freshwater mollusk that is a domesticated animal and is an important pest of rice crops in Asia. For farmers they are considered as hawa because if in a large population they can eat rice plants in just a few days. However, for laying duck breeders, it is a good extra podding for ducks to increase egg productivity.

In the 80s and 80s, golden snail eggs are a problem for farmers in our town, now I hardly see them when rice planting comes.

In my hometown, there are still lots of them during the rice planting season. Sometimes they are exterminated by farmers but will still reappear.
