An afternoon of fun

A long time ago, my mom gave my son this coloring book based on the movie Despicable Me. He likes the movie, but I don't know why that coloring book never really caught his attention. The first day she gave it to him, he only colored two Minions and then set it aside. I found it recently while I was cleaning and tidying up. That book has been sitting unused for about three years now, so I decided to color a little. When my son saw that I’d started coloring it, he got excited and tried to take it away from me, ha ha ha. In the end, we both ended up coloring it.

For my part, I decided to paint the Minions in a different way and wanted to make them into female versions, haha. I thought it was pretty funny and fun to do; they look super cute. My son teased me a lot, but he liked how they turned out—he says I color really well.

And my son turned some of them into anime characters; for example, this one is called “Gojo Saturo”.

Even though he doesn't paint as carefully as I do, it drives me a little crazy to see the mess he makes, haha, but I don't want to criticize his painting style either—I don't want to discourage him… Here are some of his other unsettling paintings.

We had a lot of fun painting; it was a relaxing activity after spending the afternoon studying (since she has several exams this week), and it’s really hard to explain so many things, do exercises for each one, and not end up with a migraine—this actually helped me relax a bit.

Jajaj amiga asi son los niños, que lindo trabajo hiciste junto con tu niño.
