Hola comunidad, hace un par de días termine esta obra, aunque el surrealismo es algo que siempre me ha gustado a veces siento que no lo aplico del todo, esta vez me inspire en las nubes y el cielo como elemento principal para esta ilustración, quería representar el cielo como si a su vez fuese agua, para esto hice lo que más me gusta: retratos. También dibuje un cuervo, este cuervo lo tome de una ilustración previa que hice a esta para crear una serie de dibujos relacionados entre si, cada uno contando una historia similar.

Hello community, a couple of days ago I finished this work, although surrealism is something that I have always liked sometimes I feel that I do not apply it at all, this time I was inspired by the clouds and the sky as the main element for this illustration, I wanted represent the sky as if it were water, for this I did what I like the most: portraits.
I also drew a raven, this raven I took from a previous illustration I did to this one to create a series of related drawings, each one telling a similar story.

Proceso/Process

Siempre que hago un boceto olvido que lo mas importante y lo que dará vida a estas obras, será el color, así que como casi siempre estaba bastante infeliz con el boceto, pero decidí no dejarlo y solo seguir, esta vez añadí una paleta de colores bastante realista sin usar tonos extravagantes como lo he hecho en mis ultimas obras, para pintar use solamente un pincel, use el pincel difuso, con este mismo fui dando cada detalle de su rostro, intercalando la opacidad y el tamaño según los detalles que quería dar en cada zona. Para las nubes si use un pincel diferente y este seria un pincel con textura parecida a la de una nube, sin embargo, los detalles que agregue mas adelante era una combinación entre este pincel y el pincel difuso.

Whenever I make a sketch I forget that the most important thing and what will give life to these works, will be the color, so as almost always I was quite unhappy with the sketch, but I decided not to leave it and just continue, this time I added a color palette quite realistic without using extravagant tones as I have done in my last works, to paint her face I used only one brush, I used the diffuse brush, with this same one I was giving every detail of her face, interspersing the opacity and the size according to the details that I wanted to give in each zone.
For the clouds I did use a different brush and this would be a cloud-like textured brush, however the details I added later on was a combination of this brush and the soft brush.

Para su cabello elegí un color marrón y realice algunas iluminaciones usando un tono cobrizo claro, quería dar la impresión de cabello mojado, asi que dibuje algunos cerca de su rostro, bastante finos. Pinte muchas mas nubes debajo de ella para dar esa impresión de que se encuentra “sumergida en las nubes”

For her hair I chose a brown color and made some highlights using a light copper tone, I wanted to give the impression of wet hair, so I drew some close to her face, quite fine. Paint a lot more clouds under her to give that impression that she is "submerged in the clouds"

Aplique muchas mas luces y sombras, di más detalles al rostro y también al pájaro que, como ya les había dicho lo había dibujado previamente en otro dibujo y lo use también para este, el cuervo quedaba muy bien sobre su nariz y agregaría aun mas ese toque surrealista que buscaba, en su ojo pinte una pequeña lagrima de sangre y finalmente aplique algunos ajustes de color a todo el dibujo y un poco de textura también, que solo se puede apreciar viendo el dibujo en su tamaño original.

I applied many more lights and shadows, I gave more details to the face and also to the bird that, as I had already told you, I had previously drawn it in another drawing and I also used it for this one, the crow was very good on his nose and I would add even more that surreal touch that I was looking for, in his eye I painted a small tear of blood and finally applied some color adjustments to the whole drawing and a bit of texture as well, which can only be seen by seeing the drawing in its original size.

Estaba bastante emocionada haciendo este dibujo que realmente no dure tanto tiempo en el y me gusto mucho, espero que les haya gustado a ustedes también.

I was quite excited making this drawing that really didn't last too long to finissh and I liked it a lot, I hope you liked it too.
