Hola amigos! Hoy estuve practicando algo a lo que le tengo mucho miedo pero que siempre me ha gustado, las vendas en los ojos, es algo que me parece muy genial al momento de aplicarlo en lo artístico ya sea fotografía o dibujos, hace mucho tiempo hice un dibujo con vendas en los ojos, en ese momento me pareció genial pero ahora lo veo fatal, por eso desde ese dibujo que hice hace casi 2 años no había practicado nunca mas hacer vendaje, siento que aunque sea tela es algo bastante complicado de moldear al rostro, por eso hoy quise ponerlo en practica nuevamente y dejar atrás ese miedo, para esta ocasión quise hacer un retrato en blanco y negro pues así quizás se me haría mas sencillo adaptar la venda al rostro y aunque no se ve perfecto creo que he mejorado muchísimo, la técnica de blanco y negro también falicitó un poco el asunto, les dejare una imagen del dibujo con vendas que hice hace dos años para que puedan ver la diferencia, se ve bastante abultado y muy tosco parece mas bien un pañal jajajaja. Espero que les guste esta nueva versión.

Today I was practicing something that I am very afraid of but I have always liked, the blindfolds, it is something that I find very cool when applied in the artistic either photography or drawings, long ago I did a drawing with blindfolds, at that time I thought it was great but now I see it fatal, so since that drawing I did almost 2 years ago I had never practiced doing bandage, I feel that although it is fabric is something quite complicated to mold to the face, so today I wanted to put it into practice again and leave that fear behind, for this occasion I wanted to make a portrait in black and white so maybe it would be easier to adapt the bandage to the face and although it doesn't look perfect I think I have improved a lot, the black and white technique also made it a little bit easier, I will leave you an image of the bandage drawing I made two years ago so you can see the difference, it looks quite bulky and very rough it looks more like a diaper hahahaha.

Proceso/Process

Realice mi boceto, esta vez haciendo el vendaje menos abultado y mas pegado al rostro, para que tuviese esa forma delicada, realice el torso como si fuese piedra quebrada, simplemente vino esta idea y me gustó mucho, comencé a aplicar los colores grises de base, aplicando luces y sombras sin llegar al negro puro o al blanco puro, en nuevas capas añadí mas tonos grises que darían forma completamente al rostro.

I made my sketch, this time making the bandage less bulky and more attached to the face, to have that delicate shape, I made the torso as if it were broken stone, just came this idea and I liked it a lot, I began to apply the gray base colors, applying lights and shadows without reaching pure black or pure white, in new layers I added more gray tones that would completely shape the face.

Difumine muy bien la piel para crear un acabo suave y liso, para el cabello si utilice un negro puro y agregue algo de luz pero sin exagerar con gris oscuro, pinte la venda con gris claro y aquí tarde muchísimo tiempo pues borre la venda unas 5 veces hasta que logre que quedara como quería, simplemente pinte algunas líneas con gris oscuro dándole ese movimiento de tela delicado, debajo de la venda pinte unas lagrimas negras cayendo por el rostro, finalmente le di el toque que mas me gusta añadir a mis dibujos y es este fondo que se mezcla con el dibujo dando ese efecto de oleo.

I blurred the skin very well to create a soft and smooth finish, for the hair I used a pure black and added some light but without exaggerating with dark gray, I painted the bandage with light gray and here it took me a long time because I erased the bandage about 5 times until I got it the way I wanted, I simply painted some lines with dark gray giving it that delicate fabric movement, under the bandage I painted some black tears falling down the face, finally I gave the touch that I like to add to my drawings and it is this background that blends with the drawing giving that oil Paint effect.
