Cheetah girl | My illustration for a contest

Soy una persona que no le gusta mucho dibujar para otros o para concursos, realmente me gusta usar el arte para expresarme y hacer las cosas a mi gusto al igual que elegir la paleta de colores, pero esta vez quise ponerme este reto, quise participar para no quedar por fuera y salir un poco de mi zona de confort, no les voy a mentir este no es uno de mis dibujos favoritos, de hecho siento que lo odio, me bloquee mentalmente muchas veces, me frustre muchísimo entre tantos problemas y entre tantos colores que no me gustan, pero de verdad quería hacerlo, quería terminar lo que empecé, este concurso esta activo por Twitter hasta el 21 de Julio de este año, es realizado por un gran coleccionista “BenjaminBitcoin” las reglas de este concurso era usar color verde oliva, cheetah, detalles en rojo y negro, hacerlo a tu estilo o como te guste, y que fuese inspirado en su foto de perfil. En esta oportunidad quise hacer una especie de chica “glamourosa” con detalles de animal print en su ropa usando manchas de Cheetah, inspirándome en su foto de perfil utilizando asi accesorios como sus lentes y agregando un collar con el símbolo de Bitcoin asi como su nombre de usuario en twitter, les daré mas detalles del proceso para esta obra a continuación:

I am a person who doesn't really like to draw for others or for contests, I really like to use art to express myself and do things to my liking as well as choosing the color palette, but this time I wanted to give myself this challenge, I wanted to participate to not be left out and get out of my comfort zone a little, I'm not going to lie to you this is not one of my favorite drawings, in fact I feel like I hate it, I mentally blocked myself many times, I got very frustrated between so many problems and between so many colors that I don't like, but I really wanted to do it, I wanted to finish what I started, this contest is active on Twitter until July 21 of this year, it is made by a great collector "BenjaminBitcoin" the rules of this contest was to use color olive green, cheetah, red and black details, do it your style or however you like, and that it was inspired by your profile picture.This time I wanted to make a kind of "glamorous" girl with animal print details on her clothes using Cheetah spots, taking inspiration from her profile picture using accessories like her glasses and adding a necklace with the Bitcoin symbol as well as her name user on twitter, I will give you more details of the process for this work below:

Proceso/Process

Este boceto lo hice con días de antelación antes de comenzar a pintar, estuve haciendo diferentes bocetos pero me quede con este ya que me gusto el toque sexy que aportaba, elegí una paleta de colores tonos piel bastante normal, la verdad no quería jugar con muchos colores y arriesgarme a que no combinaran bien con el verde oliva que iba a colocar en el fondo, comencé a darle forma a su rostro, específicamente primero a sus ojos, para continuar luego con el resto de su cara y cuerpo, suavizando y mezclando los colores.

I made this sketch days in advance before starting to paint, I was making different sketches but I stayed with this one since I liked the sexy touch it provided, I chose a fairly normal skin tone color palette, I really didn't want to play with too many colors and risking that they would not combine well with the olive green that I was going to place in the background, I began to shape her face, specifically her eyes first, to continue later with the rest of her face and body, softening and blending the colors.

Para su cabello elegí un tono marrón rojizo este color siempre me ha parecido lindo combinado con el verde y también porque combinaría con el estampado de cheetah, use dos pinceles para crear luces y sombras en su cabellera, este seria un pincel difuso y el otro un pincel especial para hacer cabello, para su ropa elegí un tono negro y en su top de animal print un color crema, en su brazo coloque una especie de tatuaje con la foto de perfil de BejaminBitcoin y también comencé a pintar la cadena, usando un tono cobre de base.

For her hair I chose a reddish brown tone, this color has always seemed cute to me combined with green and also because it would combine with the cheetah print, I used two brushes to create lights and shadows on her hair, this would be a diffuse brush and the other a special brush to make hair, for her clothes I chose a black tone and on her animal print top a cream color, on her arm I placed a kind of tattoo with BejaminBitcoin's profile picture and I also began to paint the chain, using a tone base copper.

Hora de darle mas color al collar, aplicando tonos oro y blancos, también pinte sus lentes de corazón con rojo y algunos destellos de luz usando un rojo mas claro y blanco, finalmente aplique los últimos ajustes, sombras, luces, etc y pensé en agregar un fondo con estrellas, de hecho lo guarde pero finalmente deseche esta idea porque no me gustaba del todo, así que solo deje el fondo con el color verde oliva y un degradado.

Time to give more color to the necklace, applying gold and white tones, also paint her heart lenses with red and some highlights using a lighter red and white, finally apply the last adjustments, shadows, highlights, etc and thought I'd add a background with stars, in fact I kept it but finally I discarded this idea because I didn't like it at all, so I just left the background with the olive green color and a gradient.

Realmente participe sin intenciones de ganar ni mucho menos, esto fue mas que todo una prueba para mí misma y también aprendizaje para trabajar cosas diferentes cuando lo amerite, esta experiencia quizás me ayude a animarme en futuros concursos o retos, pero sinceramente quede un poco desanimada, algo que me gusto mucho fue su rostro, asi que les dejare un close up de su cara.

I really participated without the intention of winning, much less, this was more than anything a test for myself and also learning to work on different things when it is worth it, this experience may help me to encourage myself in future contests or challenges, but honestly I am a little discouraged Something that I really liked was her face, so I'll leave you a close up of her face.
