I wish you a happy evening Holozing community! I hope you are feeling well. Today I wanted to make a Fanart of one of the creatures that we will have available in this game, this time I chose Fire Wolf I find it very cute and I wanted to explore even more that tender side making this semi realistic version with nice big and bright red eyes, resting on a rock with lava texture and a night background that would highlight these fire colors, it was a difficult job for me because I'm not so used to paint animals, however, little by little I feel more and more comfortable to do it, really the part that worried me the most was the fur that at the same time simulates fire, but I think I achieved a good result despite everything, I hope you like this tender version of Fire Wolf.

Hoy quise realizar un Fanart de una de las criaturas que tendremos disponibles en este juego, esta vez elegí a Fire Wolf me parece muy lindo y quería explorar aún más ese lado tierno haciendo esta versión semi realista con lindos ojos rojos grandes y brillantes, apoyándose sobre una roca con textura de lava y un fondo nocturno que hiciera resaltar estos colores de fuego, fue un trabajo difícil para mí pues no estoy tan acostumbrada a pintar animales, sin embargo, poco a poco ya me siento cada vez más cómoda a hacerlo, realmente la parte que más me preocupaba era el pelaje que a la vez simula fuego, pero creo que logre un buen resultado a pesar de todo, espero que les guste esta versión tierna de Fire Wolf.

Proceso/Process

I started with the sketch, to make it I saw many images of small wolves to guide me, it was not really easy, as I said, drawing animals is not my forte, I tried to make a sketch with a tender face, but I was not completely convinced, I felt it looked strange, but I decided to trust the process and start painting, I took some of the tones of the original image adapting them a little to the style I wanted, changing for example the saturation, exploring a little more opaque colors, I started to paint with a dark brown all the fur and then I added some lighter browns in areas such as the muzzle, paws and ears, I also started to paint the parts that would have fire so I wouldn't get confused later and have everything well ordered, then I added a new layer where I started to detail from the eyes to the rest of the face, that's how little by little I started to put together the fur giving a little more sense to the orientation of the fur and also the fire, I was surprised how good it was looking for something that I don't practice so often, I was very happy.

Comencé con el boceto, para poder realizarlo vi muchas imágenes de lobos pequeños para poder guiarme, realmente no fue nada fácil, como les comenté, dibujar animales no es mi fuerte, intente realizar un boceto con un rostro tierno, aunque no me convencía del todo, sentía que se veía extraño, pero decidí confiar en el proceso y comenzar a pintar, tome algunos de los tonos de la imagen original adaptándolos un poco al estilo que quería, cambiando por ejemplo la saturación, explorando colores un poco más opacos, empecé a pintar con un marrón oscuro todo el pelaje y luego añadí algunos marrones más claros en zonas como el hocico, patas y orejas, empecé a pintar también las partes que llevarían fuego para no confundirme más adelante y tener todo bien ordenado, después agregue una nueva capa donde comencé a detallar desde los ojos hasta el resto del rostro, fue asi como poco a poco empecé a armar el pelaje dándole un poco más de sentido a la orientación del pelaje y también del fuego, me sorprendió lo bien que se estaba viendo para ser algo que no practico tan seguido, estaba muy feliz.

After several hours detailing the fur of this wolf, I was satisfied and continued working on the rest, starting with the background where I wanted to add a dark blue tone and a small light that reflects a moonlit night, then I painted the rock with different orange tones quite saturated, then I added a clipping mask and applied a darker blue almost black and with the help of the eraser I started to create lines that at the end would bring that lava texture to the whole rock, once everything was ready, I needed to give more life to those huge eyes and other areas, so I added a layer of lights and started to add points of light in the eyes, fur, the fire and also some points of light around the rock.

Después de varias horas detallando el pelaje de este lobo, estaba satisfecha y continue trabajando en lo demás, empezando por el fondo donde quise añadir un tono azul oscuro y una pequeña luz que refleja una noche de luna, después pinte la roca con diferentes tonos naranjas bastante saturados, agregue una capa de recorte y aplique un azul más oscuro casi negro y con ayuda del borrador empecé a crear líneas que al final aportarían esa textura de lava a toda la roca, una vez listo todo, necesitaba darle más vida a esos enormes ojos y otras zonas, entonces añadí una capa de luces y empecé a añadir puntos de luz en los ojos, pelaje, el fuego y también algunos puntos de luz alrededor.

I thought of adding some small flames of fire floating to later review my drawing and fix some small things that still needed to be detailed, finally I edited the image but it already looked pretty good as it was so this time the adjustment of colors or contrast was quite minimal, and my draw was finished.

Se me ocurrió agregar algunas pequeñas flamas de fuego flotando para después revisar bien mi dibujo y arreglar algunas pequeñas cosas aún faltaban por detallar, finalmente edite la imagen pero ya se veía bastante bien como estaba asi que esta vez el ajuste de colores o de contraste fue bastante mínimo, y asi fue que termine mi dibujo.
