Buenas noches amigos, hoy quiero compartir algo en lo que estuve trabajando estos últimos 3 días, la verdad fue mas sencillo que otras cosas que he realizado, solo que tuve que esperar varios días a que secara la pega para continuar trabajando, esta vez hice una lanza, jamás me imagine haciendo este tipo de cosas pero he tenido que aprender para poder cumplir con la lista de Santa completamente, jajajaja mi hijo pidió muchas cosas random en su lista de navidad, entre ellas una lanza, una máscara de caballero y como 7 cosas mas, por suerte la mayoría las conseguí por internet y las pude comprar pero fue bastante difícil conseguir la lanza y mascara de caballero, asi que he tenido que hacerlo yo misma, hace poco les mostré que también hice un pico de Minecraft eso también estaba en esa lista ya solo me falta hacer la mascara de caballero la cual creo que será la más difícil de todas, asi que tengo que mentalizarme para poder hacer esa mascara. Por ahora les hablare sobre esta Lanza para la cual me guie de varios videos de Youtube para poder hacerla, sinceramente me costó muchísimo conseguir un video completo que explicara bien todo el procedimiento, asi que por eso tuve que ver varios y juntar las piezas como un rompecabezas para asi tener idea de que haría, lo bueno es que esta lanza quedo bastante bonita y se hace muy fácil, con materiales que probablemente tengamos en casa y sino, pues se compran y no son para nada costosos. Espero que les guste.

Good evening friends, today I want to share something I've been working on these last 3 days, the truth is it was easier than other things I've done, I just had to wait several days for the job to dry to continue working, this time I made a spear, I never imagined myself doing this kind of things but I had to learn to be able to fulfill Santa's list completely, hahahaha my son asked for many random things on his Christmas list, among them a spear, a knight mask and about 7 other things, luckily I got most of them online and I could buy them but it was quite difficult to get the spear and knight mask, so I had to do it myself, recently I showed you that I also made a Minecraft pickaxe that was also on that list, now I just need to make the knight mask which I think will be the most difficult of all, so I have to psych myself up to make that mask.
For now I will talk about this spear for which I was guided by several Youtube videos to make it, honestly it cost me a lot to get a complete video that explained well the whole procedure, so I had to see several and put together the pieces like a puzzle to have an idea of what I would do, the good thing is that this spear was quite nice and is very easy to do, with materials that probably have at home and if not, then buy them and they are not at all expensive. Proceso/Process

Bueno, para comenzar necesitaba un palo de escoba y era lo único que no me sobraba en casa por que no quería destruir el de mi escoba, asi que salí a comprar uno, fue muy económico costo menos de $1 pero estaba bastante nerviosa porque era demasiado largo y debía cortarlo, asi que tome un cuchillo y con mucha fuerza y paciencia fui cortando el palo del largo que quería, obviamente quedo mal cortado ya que con un cuchillo es muy difícil hacer un corte limpio, asi que luego comencé a lijarlo para dejar una base plana, o al menos lo mas plana posible.

Well, to start I needed a broomstick and it was the only thing I didn't have at home because I didn't want to destroy my broomstick, so I went out to buy one, it was very cheap and cost less than $1 but I was quite nervous because it was too long and I had to cut it, so I took a knife and with a lot of strength and patience I cut the stick to the length I wanted, obviously it was badly cut because with a knife is very difficult to make a clean cut, so then I started to sand it to leave a flat base, or at least as flat as possible.

Luego tome una caja de cereal y trace en ella unos rectángulos de 9 cm de ancho por 15 de alto, dejando 5 cm realice una línea guía y luego deje 2 cm de espacio y realice otra linea, después uní todos los puntos para formar la punta de la flecha y luego recorte ambas flechas.

Then take a cereal box and draw on it rectangles of 9 cm wide by 15 cm high, leaving 5 cm make a guide line and then leave 2 cm of space and make another line, then join all the points to form the tip of the arrow and then cut out both arrows.

Con ayuda de una regla, comencé a doblar la figura justo en la línea del centro, hice esto con ambos lados y luego los uní y cerré usando cinta adhesiva, debe quedar completamente cubierta por encima pero no hay que cubrir la parte de abajo.

With the help of a ruler, I started to fold the figure just in the center line, I did this with both sides and then I joined them together and closed them using masking tape, it should be completely covered on top but the bottom should not be covered.

Tomé unas servilletas y las enrollé para rellenar la flecha por el agujero que dejé, luego doble las partes sueltas de la flecha alrededor del palo de escoba y lo sostuve con cinta adhesiva, quise poner mucha cinta para fijarlo bien pero pueden poner mucho menos.

I took some napkins and rolled them up to stuff the arrow through the hole I left, then folded the loose parts of the arrow around the broomstick and held it with tape, I wanted to put a lot of tape to secure it well but you can put a lot less.

En un envase de vidrio coloque pegamento mezclado con un poco de agua, tome papel periódico y comencé a forrar la lanza, cubrí por completo toda la lanza incluyendo el palo.

In a glass container I put glue mixed with a little water, took newspaper and began to line the spear, I completely covered the entire spear including the stick.

Deje secar por 24 horas y luego comencé a pintar, algunas partes quedaron algo arrugadas pero vamos a simular que es textura de la lanza jajaja, aplique dos capas de pintura negra y deje secar, para luego tomar pintura dorada y comenzar a aplicarla pero con la técnica de pincel seco, asi no quedaría completamente dorada sino que dejaría ese efecto de manchas, para dejar todo mejor fijado, aplique una capa de pegamento encima y deje secar y ya esta lista.

Let dry for 24 hours and then I started to paint, some parts were a little wrinkled but we will simulate that it is texture of the spear hahaha, apply two coats of black paint and let dry, then take gold paint and begin to apply it but with the dry brush technique, so it would not be completely golden but would leave that effect of spots, to leave everything better fixed, apply a coat of glue on top and let dry and now it's ready.

Final

Ya esta lista la lanza para navidad, la parte difícil es esconderla hasta esa fecha ya que es un poco larga e intento hacer que mi hijo no entre al cuarto donde la tengo escondida, fue muy divertido hacerla me siento muy orgullosa, aunque no quedo perfecta me parece que tiene un buen aspecto, además presiento que mi hijo la va a destruir en dias jajaja, asi que eso es todo por hoy, nos vemos!

The spear is ready for Christmas, the hard part is to hide it until that date because it is a little long and I try to make my son not to enter the room where I have it hidden, it was very fun to make it, I feel very proud, although it is not perfect I think it looks good, besides I have a feeling that my son will destroy it in days hahaha, so that's all for today, see you!

Hola amiga, esa lanza quedó perfecta, parece una reliquia que fue usada por algún guerrero en la antigüedad jjj. Me ha encantado el color, y sobre todo la textura jj, a tu hijo le va a encantar. Felicidades y saludos
