¡Muy buenas noches amantes de los animales!
Hace un tiempo que no daba alguna actualización de Tommy pero es porque realmente estos últimos meses han sido caóticos para mí, pero hoy si tenía muchísimas ganas de compartir con ustedes un pedacito de nuestra vida que ha estado llena de muchas emociones desde que Tommy empezó a formar parte de nuestra familia.
Tommy ha sido una alegría en nuestra casa, prácticamente es como un segundo hijo y aunque al principio sentía que este “mito” de los gatos naranjas que he visto en internet era solo tonterías de las personas, poco a poco me he dado cuenta que es todo lo contrario jajaja, aunque nuestro gatito es una cosita muy tierna también tiene algunos ataques de locura que son mas intensos que los otros gatos que he tenido, me causa mucha risa pero a la vez me pone los nervios de punta.

It's been a while since I've given an update on Tommy but it's because these last few months have been really chaotic for me, but today I really wanted to share with you a little piece of our life that has been full of many emotions since Tommy became part of our family.
Tommy has been a joy in our house, he is practically like a second son and although at the beginning I felt that this "myth" of orange cats that I have seen on the internet was just nonsense from people, little by little I have realized that it is the opposite hahaha, although our kitty is a very cute little thing he also has some crazy attacks that are more intense than the other cats I have had, he makes me laugh a lot but at the same time he makes my nerves stand on end.
Los gatos son muy inteligentes y Tommy ha sido una muestra de ello, el sabe que algunas de sus travesuras son peligrosas y que hay cosas que no debe hacer pero aun asi se pone rebelde y lo hace, ha empezado a abrir la nevera por las noches, siempre antes de dormir tenemos que colocar una silla en frente de la nevera para evitar que la abra, ahora estoy segura que dentro de poco aprenderá a mover la silla para abrir la nevera jajaja por suerte no me ha tirado nada de vidrio de lo que tengo allí guardado, pero si se mete a veces a romper cosas, cuando nos damos cuenta enseguida pone su rostro con una expresión de “sumiso” para que no lo regañemos, sabe manipular muy bien, a veces me recuerda al gato con botas.
Cats are very smart and Tommy has been a sample of that, he knows that some of his antics are dangerous and that there are things he shouldn't do but he still gets rebellious and does it, he has started to open the fridge at night, always before going to sleep we have to put a chair in front of the fridge to prevent him from opening it, now I am sure that soon he will learn to move the chair to open the fridge hahaha luckily he has not thrown any of the glass I have stored there, but sometimes he breaks things, when we realize it he immediately puts his face with an expression of "submissive" so we don't scold him, he knows how to manipulate very well, sometimes he reminds me of the puss in boots.
Como he dicho antes, aun no he podido colocar la malla protectora en la ventana es algo muy costoso en mi país, además que he tenido otros gastos como al alimentación y la arena de Tommy sin embargo, logre llenar la ventana de muchas plantas y una base de vidrio para evitar que se caiga, solo lo dejamos montar algunas veces en el día en la ventana y con nuestra supervisión, pero como no todo es color de rosa, siempre en algún momento el se monta solo, pero siempre estamos al pendiente y vamos directo a sostenerlo para evitar un accidente, el problema es cuando este habito se vuelve mas seguido, por temporadas, le da esa obsesión tremenda de montarse a cada rato incluso hemos tenido que mantener la ventana cerrada en algunas ocasiones.

También se monta encima de las puertas de la casa, es increíble el salto tan alto que da para colgarse encima de las puertas para luego llorar porque le da miedo bajarse solo, tenemos que ir a rescatarlo y bajarlo de allí.
He also rides on top of the doors of the house, it is incredible how high he jumps to hang on top of the doors and then cries because he is afraid to get off by himself, we have to rescue him and get him down from there.
Estos comportamientos psicóticos son durante pequeños momentos del día y la noche, del resto es un gatito muy adorable y tranquilo, duerme mucho, supongo que es para tomar fuerza y despertarse cada vez mas loco jajaja, a pesar de todo eso el siempre tiene esa mirada de amor en sus ojitos y es muy cariñoso, le encanta recibir caricias y también darlas.
These psychotic behaviors are during small moments of the day and night, the rest is a very adorable and calm kitten, he sleeps a lot, I guess it is to take strength and wake up more and more crazy hahaha, despite all that he always has that look of love in his eyes and is very affectionate, he loves to receive caresses and also to give them.
Hemos logrado educarlo en la medida de lo posible ya que al fin y al cabo es un animalito, es su naturaleza estar un poco loco y lo aceptamos de esta forma, aunque nuestro estilo de vida ha cambiado mucho en algunos aspectos para evitar accidentes con nuestro gato, lo hemos cuidado muchísimo, cada día está un poquito más travieso.
Pienso que tal vez también este asi por temas hormonales, ya pronto comenzaremos con los preparativos para la esterilización de Tommy y quizás eso ayude un poco a que este mas tranquilo.
We have managed to educate him as much as possible because after all he is a little animal, it is his nature to be a little crazy and we accept him this way, although our lifestyle has changed a lot in some aspects to avoid accidents with our cat, we have taken care of him a lot, every day he is a little bit more naughty.
I think that maybe this is also due to hormonal issues, we will soon start with the preparations for Tommy's sterilization and maybe that will help him to be calmer.
