Si hay algo que me encanta son los tonos fríos y sobre todo llevados a un retrato donde puedes jugar aun mas con estos colores, aunque a veces es difícil no es imposible, solo hay que tener en claro donde colocar los tonos oscuros y los claros de estos colores que elegimos, esta vez trabaje con muchos rosas, morados y azules para crear este rostro donde buscaba darle muchos detalles para tener un resultado lo mas realista posible, este tipo de dibujo son los que mas disfruto de hacer, me traen mucha paz pintarlos, me emociona pintar esos enormes ojos y labios gruesos, darle vida y sentimiento a cada obra, en esta particularmente quería hacer un efecto de luz, una luz que refleja en el rostro pero que simula ser una luz que está proyectada a través de un cristal o quizás un vitral, espero que les guste.

If there is something I love are the cold tones and especially taken to a portrait where you can play even more with these colors, although sometimes it is difficult it is not impossible, you just have to be clear where to place the dark and light tones of these colors we choose, this time I worked with many pinks, purples and blues to create this face where I wanted to give many details to have a result as realistic as possible, this type of drawing are the ones I enjoy the most, they bring me a lot of peace to paint them, it excites me to paint those huge eyes and thick lips, give life and feeling to each work, in this particular I wanted to make a light effect, a light that reflects on the face but that simulates a light that is projected through a glass or perhaps a stained glass window, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Primero realice el boceto, después elegí los colores, como comenté fueron muchos tonos rosas, azules y morados, también añadí un color extra que realmente no sabia si funcionaria que era el blanco, intente hacer desde que comencé a depositar los colores, hacer este efecto de reflejo de luz en el rostro me estaba costando muchísimo porque sentía que iba a quedar como heridas en el rostro en vez de reflejos de luz, me estaba frustrando un poco, pero decidí seguir, luego en otra capa coloque mas tonalidades para luego proceder a mezclar todos los colores y crear una piel mas lisa, cuando empecé a mezclar todo me di cuenta que el efecto de luz si estaba notándose mejor, entonces luego pinte las cejas y pestañas para luego continuar pintando la camisa, para la cual elegí un azul muy oscuro.

First I made the sketch, then I chose the colors, as I said there were many shades of pink, blue and purple, I also added an extra color that I really did not know if it would work which was white, I tried to do since I started to deposit the colors, to make this effect of light reflection on the face was costing me a lot because I felt that it was going to be like wounds on the face instead of light reflections, I was getting a little frustrated, but I decided to continue, then in another layer I placed more shades and then proceeded to mix all the colors and create a smoother skin, when I started to mix everything I realized that the light effect was showing better, then I painted the eyebrows and eyelashes and then continue painting the shirt, for which I chose a very dark blue.

Después pinte el cabello, elegí hacerlo morado y el motivo es que lo intente de varios colores y se veían horribles, el morado combinaba mucho mas era mas armonioso con toda la escena a comparación de un marrón, azul, verde o rosa, cambie el fondo a un morado oscuro desaturado y luego añadí algunas sombras, después aplique una capa de luces para iluminar los ojos, boca y nariz, también quise utilizar un pincel que da un efecto de glitter y lo coloque debajo de los ojos, se veía muy bonito, para terminar edite la imagen ajustando un poco la intensidad de todos los colores y haciendo más oscura todo el dibujo.

Then I painted the hair, I chose to make it purple and the reason is that I tried several colors and they looked horrible, the purple combined much more was more harmonious with the whole scene compared to a brown, blue, green or pink, I changed the background to a desaturated dark purple and then I added some shadows, then I applied a layer of lights to illuminate the eyes, mouth and nose, I also wanted to use a brush that gives a glitter effect and I placed it under the eyes, it looked very nice, to finish I edited the image adjusting a little the intensity of all the colors and making darker all the drawing.
