Hola comunidad de Sketchbook, desde hace un par de días retome el dibujo después de varios días que me tomé de descanso y aunque me encanta dibujar a veces tengo bloqueos artísticos o demasiadas ideas que me hacen saturar la mente, esta vez podría decir que paso así, pues estaba bastante emocionada cuando comencé este retrato y se veía bastante lindo sin detalles, pero se me ocurrió hacer están especie de antifaz la cual dibuje cada figura con ayuda de una herramienta de espejo para hacer ambos lados simétricos, la verdad tarde muchísimas horas haciendo estos pequeños detalles y al final no me gusto, pero ya había perdido muchas horas haciéndolo y no podía borrar tantas horas de trabajo, asi que decidí continuar así e implementar mas detalles al dibujo hasta que me gustara al menos un poco. Espero que les guste.

Hello Sketchbook community, a couple of days ago I took up drawing again after several days off and although I love to draw sometimes I have artistic blocks or too many ideas that make me saturate my mind, this time I could say that it happened like that, because I was quite excited when I started this portrait and it looked pretty nice without details, but it occurred to me to make this kind of mask which I drew each figure with the help of a mirror tool to make both sides symmetrical, the truth is that it took me many hours doing these small details and at the end I didn't like it, but I had already lost many hours doing it and I couldn't erase so many hours of work, so I decided to continue like this and implement more details to the drawing until I liked it at least a little bit.

Proceso/Process

Comencé un boceto sencillo, ya que no quería dar muchos detalles, elegí la paleta de colores para esta ocasión utilice tonos piel bastante claros, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores y luego comencé a mezclarlos para tener una piel realista y suave, elegi un color de cabello rojo y los ojos los pinte de un azul bastante claro, esta combinación entre el rojo del cabello y los ojos claros me encanta.

I started a simple sketch, since I didn't want to give too many details, I chose the color palette for this occasion I used quite light skin tones, in a new layer I added more colors and then I started to mix them to have a realistic and soft skin, I chose a red hair color and the eyes I painted them in a quite light blue, i love this combination between the red hair and the light eyes.

Para este punto me gustaba mucho como se veía pero sentía que quería agregar algo mas para no hacerlo tan simple, entonces se me ocurrió activar la herramienta de espejo y comenzar a dibujar figuras en el centro de la frente, poco a poco fui extendiendo estas figuras alrededor de los ojos y nariz, mi idea era rellenar todo el rostro pero la verdad no pude continuar, me dolía mucho la mano, fue en este momento que elegir hacer una especie de antifaz, después de varias horas de trabajo odié el resultado pero no podía borrar todo ese trabajo así que decidí continuar y agregar otros detalles, comencé a añadir luces al rostro para darle mas vida, pinte una gargantilla brillante y para el fondo comencé a explorar opciones y termine haciendo un fondo azul con negro, algunas manchas alrededor y una especie de forma de alas de mariposa, finalmente aplique un ajuste de color dándole una tonalidad mas azul al dibujo.

At this point I really liked how it looked but I felt that I wanted to add something more to not make it so simple, then it occurred to me to activate the mirror tool and start drawing figures in the center of the forehead, little by little I was extending these figures around the eyes and nose, my idea was to fill the whole face but the truth was that I could not continue, my hand was hurting too much, it was at this moment that I chose to make a kind of mask, after several hours of work I hated the result but I couldn't erase all that work so I decided to continue and add other details, I started to add lights to the face to give it more life, I painted a bright choker and for the background I started to explore options and ended up making a blue background with black, some spots around it and a kind of butterfly wings shape, finally I applied a color adjustment giving a more blue tone to the drawing.
