Rainbow tears

Hola comunidad de OCA, en esta oportunidad he querido compartir un retrato que hice recientemente, esta vez usando tonalidades bastante desaturadas con un toque de color en el arcoíris, el arcoíris en esta ocasión representan una especie de lágrimas que recorren todo el rostro, hace mucho tiempo que no practicaba pintar al estilo de óleo, algo más rustico y sin tantos detalles, en esta oportunidad quise hacerlo, me gusto mucho la mezcla de colores y como se funden entre si.

Hello OCA community, this time I wanted to share a portrait that I did recently, this time using quite desaturated tones with a touch of color in the rainbow, the rainbow on this occasion represents a kind of tears that run all over the face, a long time ago I haven't practiced painting in the oil style for a long time, something more rustic and without so many details, this time I wanted to do it, I really liked the mix of colors and how they blend together.

Proceso/Process

Hice el boceto y comencé a elegir los colores, usando una paleta de tonos marrones desaturados y un rosa pálido, fui rellenando la luz y la sombra en el rostro y en una nueva capa creando la forma, agregando un poco mas de tonalidades y mezclándolas para crear una piel suave, para el cabello use un marrón muy oscuro y comencé a pintar un poco el fondo aplicando pequeños toques de colores con el pincel de textura de oleo.

I made the sketch and started choosing the colors, using a palette of desaturated brown tones and a pale pink, I was filling the light and shadow on the face and in a new layer creating the shape, adding a little more tones and blending them to to create a soft skin, for the hair I used a very dark brown and I started to paint the background a bit by applying small touches of colors with the oil texture brush.

Después de darle forma al rostro, comencé a pintar las lagrimas de arcoíris, usando los colores característicos del mismo, pero de un valor mas bajo haciéndolos lucir un poco menos saturados, se me ocurrió hacer los ojos también con esta mezcla de tonos, asique aplique pequeños puntos de color en el iris creando este arcoíris dentro, finalmente aplique una sombra en la imagen, una luz tenue que atraviesa el rostro y algunas pinceladas con el pincel de oleo para dar ese efecto mas intenso de oleo.

After shaping the face, I began to paint the rainbow tears, using its characteristic colors, but with a lower value, making them look a little less saturated, it occurred to me to also make the eyes with this mixture of tones, so I applied small dots of color in the iris creating this rainbow inside, finally apply a shadow on the image, a soft light that crosses the face and some strokes with the oil brush to give that more intense oil effect.
