Red as a symbol of life and good fortune

Se acerca el ultimo día de este año y en mi país hay algunas creencias sobre los colores a llevar esa noche para recibir el año lleno de diferentes deseos, normalmente esta tradición aplica para ropa interior jajaja, aunque yo no se si eso sea cierto, realmente nunca lo he intentado, pero se me ocurrió hacer un maquillaje de propuesta para recibir el año nuevo donde el protagonista es el color rojo, lo quise combinar con negro porque siento que como es un look nocturno, quedaría mejor siendo un makeup bastante oscuro, fuerte y llamativo, esta vez use una de las sombras que menos he usado desde que la compre, se trata de una sombra que viene en polvo y que es muy brillante, tengo una roja, morada y otra verde, pero como hoy quería algo rojo, trabaje con esa, me gusta mucho porque le da muchísimo brillo a la mirada sobre todo al cambiar las luces del lugar donde estes, también pienso que quedaría genial con glitter rojo en caso no tener una sombra parecida a esta, espero que les guste.
El color rojo, además de ser normalmente un color que simboliza el romance, la pasión e incluso el peligro, en este contexto de noche vieja es algo un poco diferente, pues para recibir el nuevo año se tiene la creencia de que este color nos deparará un año llevo de buena suerte y además es un símbolo de vida.
Hoy quise hacer el maquillaje con la mayoría de productos que adquirí ayer para probar un poco la calidad, esta vez use el corrector, rubor, primer, las pestañas, crema hidratante y también uno de los labiales que compre, me gusto mucho como el corrector cubrió bastante mis ojeras y en general la calidad de todo me pareció buena.
Empecé entonces, aplicando crema hidratante en el rostro asi como también un poco de contorno de ojos, luego pinte mis cejas con sombra marrón y le di forma, ahora aplique corrector en el parpado para una mejor pigmentación de sombras, empecé con el rojo aplicándolo en el centro del parpado y difuminando, luego con sombra de ojos negro empecé a aplicarlo en las esquinas dejando el centro en rojo, también pinte un poco la línea de agua con estos mismos tonos.
- Luego tomé la sombra en polvo brillante y la aplique encima de la parte roja del ojo, le daba un toque muy brillante y espectacular, una vez listo, aplique mascara de pestañas y luego base en todo el rostro, seguí el maquillaje aplicando un poco de contorno en la nariz y sellando con polvo traslucido, ahora aplique rubor y luego el labial marrón, para terminar este look coloque pestañas postizas, esta vez elegí pestañas postizas bastante exageradas y finalmente apliqué iluminador.

The color red, besides being normally a color that symbolizes romance, passion and even danger, in this context of New Year's Eve is something a little different, because to welcome the new year it is believed that this color will bring us a year of good luck and it is also a symbol of life.
- Today I wanted to do the makeup with most of the products I bought yesterday to test the quality a little bit, this time I used the concealer, primer, blush, lashes, moisturizer and also one of the lipsticks I bought, I really liked how the concealer covered my dark circles and in general the quality of everything seemed good.
- I started then, applying moisturizer on the face as well as some eye contour, then I painted my eyebrows with brown shadow and gave it shape, now I applied concealer on the eyelid for a better pigmentation of shadows, I started with red applying it in the center of the eyelid and blending, then with black eye shadow I started to apply it in the corners leaving the center in red, I also painted a little bit the water line with these same tones.
- Then I took the shiny powder shadow and applied it over the red part of the eye, it gave a very bright and spectacular touch, once ready, I applied mascara and then foundation all over the face, I followed the makeup applying a little contour on the nose and sealing with translucent powder, now I applied blush and then the brown lipstick, to finish this look I applied false eyelashes, this time I chose quite exaggerated false eyelashes and finally I applied highlighter.
