Red eyes

Saludos Aliens. Hoy toco dibujo con mezcla de colores extraña esta vez rojo y tonos verdes/azules hace mucho tiempo que no combinaba estos dos colores que a mi parecer son bastante complicados, esta mezcla no es una de mis favoritas pero sin duda a veces resulta muy bien, hoy por ejemplo me ha gustado este retrato, sinceramente no le tenia fe y creí que quedaría peor jaja, pero siento que esta decente, intente mantener algo de textura en la piel asi que pinte prácticamente muy desordenado eso me hizo el trabajo mas sencillo pues no estuve cuidando tanto los detalles y a pesar de todo se ve mas o menos realista, espero que les guste.

Today I'm drawing with a strange mixture of colors, this time red and green/blue tones, it's been a long time since I combined these two colors that in my opinion are quite complicated, this mixture is not one of my favorites but without a doubt sometimes it turns out very well, today for example I liked this portrait, sincerely I didn't have faith in it and I thought it would look worse haha, but I feel it's decent, I tried to keep some texture in the skin so I painted practically very messy that made my work easier because I wasn't taking care of the details so much and in spite of everything it looks more or less realistic, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Empecé el boceto y la elección de colores, tuve que cambiar algunos tonos varias veces pues no me daban el resultado que quería, apliqué muchos rojos, verdes, azules y también algunos rosas, naranjas, beige y amarillos, estaba preocupada por la cantidad de colores que estaba colocando, pero seguí adelante. En una nueva capa nada mas colores y mejore algunos de ellos, dándole forma poco a poco a todo el rostro, después de tener la forma del rostro empecé a mezclar todos los colores con el pincel en una opacidad alta y dando trazos rústicos para dejar algo de textura en la piel.

I started the sketch and the choice of colors, I had to change some tones several times because they didn't give me the result I wanted, I applied many reds, greens, blues and also some pinks, oranges, beige and yellows, I was worried about the amount of colors I was placing, but I kept going.
In a new layer I added more colors and improved some of them, giving shape little by little to the whole face, after having the shape of the face I started to mix all the colors with the brush in a high opacity and giving rustic strokes to leave some texture on the skin.

Después de pintar toda la piel me dedique a pintar el cabello con un tono rojo desaturado de base, esto no me funciono muy bien pues pinte el cabello y se veía extraño, entonces lo cambie por un verde desaturado y comencé a pintar los mechones con el mismo tono pero más claro, además de añadir otras tonalidades como rojas y otros verdes más puros, pinte las cejas y las pestañas y luego un fondo rojo con algunas luces, añadí mas mechones de cabello en la otra parte donde no tenia y continue creando una capa de luces para iluminar un poco mas los ojos, labios y nariz, finalice haciendo un ajuste de color, saturación, exposición, ajustándolo a mi gusto.

After painting all the skin I painted the hair with a desaturated red tone as a base, this did not work very well because I painted the hair and it looked strange, then I changed it for a desaturated green and started to paint the strands with the same tone but lighter, besides adding other shades like red and other purer greens, I painted the eyebrows and eyelashes and then a red background with some lights, I added more hair strands in the other part where didn't have and continued creating a layer of lights to illuminate a little more the eyes, lips and nose, I finished making an adjustment of color, saturation, exposure, adjusting it to my taste.
