Buenas noches y feliz fin de semana para todos. Hoy voy a compartir un dibujo que hice inspirándome en temática de vampiro, aunque no quise hacer la típica chica mostrando sus colmillos, esta vez quise hacer un rostro sin expresión, con sangre cayendo desde su boca hasta el cuello, usando colores muy desaturados y opacos y pinceladas muy rusticas para dejar algo de textura en la piel. Además hice el cabello con risos, que es algo que no hago muy seguido ya que me da miedo que no se vea bien pintando, esta vez me atreví para probar y pues si me gusto, aunque no es uno de mis dibujos favoritos tampoco me desagrada mucho, solo que tiene algo en el rostro que no termina de convencerme siento que hay algo que me perturba un poco y no se que es, es muy loco ¿no?

Today I'm going to share a drawing I did inspired by vampire theme, although I didn't want to make the typical girl showing her fangs, this time I wanted to make a face without expression, with blood falling from her mouth to her neck, using very desaturated and opaque colors and very rustic brushstrokes to leave some texture on the skin. I also did the hair with curls, which is something I don't do very often because I'm afraid it won't look good when painted, this time I dared to try it and I liked it, although it's not one of my favorite drawings I don't dislike it very much, it just has something in the face that doesn't convince me, I feel that there is something that disturbs me a little and I don't know what it is, it's very crazy isn't it?

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto y elegí los colores para comenzar a pintar, elegí diferentes tonos de azules bastante desaturados y algunos (muy pocos) algo mas saturados, agregue una nueva capa donde como siempre añadí mas colores y sume algunos marrones claros y oscuros para añadir sombras, después empecé a mezclar estos colores sin mucho detalle ya que quería dejar la piel con bastante textura, decidí pintar los ojos con un tono rojo para hacer juego con la sangre que iba a pintar más adelante, además también pinte el cabello usando un tono negro puro.

I made the sketch and chose the colors to start painting, I chose different shades of blue quite desaturated and some (very few) something more saturated, I added a new layer where as always I added more colors and added some light and dark browns to add shadows, then I started to mix these colors without much detail as I wanted to leave the skin with enough texture, I decided to paint the eyes with a red tone to match the blood that I was going to paint later, I also painted the hair using a pure black tone.

Para darle mas forma a los rizos añadí algunas iluminaciones con azul claro y una opacidad baja, dando formas curvas en algunas partes del cabello, después pinte la sangre derramándose desde la boca hasta el cuello, para esto hice varias pinceladas con diferentes opacidades para que todo se mezcle muy bien y la sangre se ve aun poco mas real, para el fondo elegi un degradado de azul oscuro con un azul un poco mas claro, quise añadir algunas decoraciones en el cabello asi que pinte algunas perlas pequeñas y luego añadí iluminaciones en el rostro, finalice editando la imagen para ajustar un poco el contraste y saturación.

To give more shape to the curls I added some highlights with light blue and a low opacity, giving curved shapes in some parts of the hair, then I painted the blood spilling from the mouth to the neck, for this I made several brushstrokes with different opacities so that everything blends very well and the blood looks even more real, for the background I chose a dark blue gradient with a little lighter blue, I wanted to add some decorations in the hair so I painted some small pearls and then I added some highlights in the face, I finished editing the image to adjust a little the contrast and saturation.
