Saludos a todos, hoy presento mi entrada para esta semana de @Splinterlands art contest, he elegido una carta bastante genial en esta oportunidad represente a mi estilo a Dark enchantress, una hechicera que se me hace bastante atractiva y quería aprovechar un poco eso, esta vez elegí hacer un retrato, ya que se me da bastante bien hacerlos, diría que un poco más sencillo, pero en el proceso me di cuenta que fue bastante complicado, puse muchísimo esfuerzo en la ropa y el sombrero, quería que luciese bastante bien ya que a veces dibujar tela es algo difícil para mí, creo que esta vez el resultado fue bastante bueno, de verdad me he enamorado de esta carta jaja. Mi versión de Dark enchantress se enfoca en realzar un rostro con una mirada penetrante y una sonrisa que apenas puede notarse, reflejando algo de maldad pero de forma delicada, quise realizar la ropa lo mas parecida posible y hacer lucir una larga cabellera blanca ondulada, para el tercer ojo quería hacerlo bastante simple pero que tuviese un brillo más alto que los otros dos ojos, asi que lo hice iluminar un poco mas, espero que les guste.

Greetings everyone, today I present my entry for this week's @Splinterlands art contest, I have chosen a pretty cool card.
In this time i represent in my style to: Dark enchantress, a enchantress that I find quite attractive and I wanted to take advantage of that a bit, I chose to do a portrait because I'm pretty good at doing it, I'd say a bit simpler, but in the process I realized it was quite complicated, I put a lot of effort into the clothes and the hat, I wanted it to look pretty good because sometimes drawing fabric is difficult for me, I think that this time the result was quite good, I really fell in love with this card haha.
My version of Dark enchantress focuses on enhancing a face with a penetrating look and a smile that can barely be noticed, reflecting some evil but in a delicate way, I wanted to make the clothes as similar as possible and show off long wavy white hair, to the third eye i wanted to make it quite simple but have a higher brightness than the other two eyes, so i made it a bit brighter, i hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Comencé mi boceto, haciendo un retrato y creando la ropa lo más parecida posible, el sombrero me costó muchísimo conseguirle la forma en la que se adaptara a la cabeza, decidí dejarlo así y encargarme del sombrero mas adelante cuando lo pintara. Elegí una paleta de colores de tonos lila, ya que la piel de ella es de ese color, pero los tonos que elegí eran un poco más saturados, comencé a rellenar el rostro para darle forma, en una nuevas capas comencé a difuminar los colores dándole forma al rostro poco a poco, una vez que el rostro ya tenía mejor forma, comencé a rellenar la ropa y el cabello colocando tonos base, muy parecidos a los de la carta original, igualmente coloque un tono base en el sombrero y aproveche de darle una forma diferente a la que había realizado en el boceto, creo que esta forma aunque no quedo perfecta se veía muchísimo mejor.

I started my sketch, making a portrait and creating the clothes as similar as possible, the hat cost me a lot the way it adapted to the head, I decided to leave it like that and take care of the hat later when I painted it.
I chose a color palette of lilac tones, since her skin is that color, but the tones I chose were a little more saturated, I began to fill in the face to give it shape, in new layers I began to blend the colors improving little by little, once the face had a better shape, I began to fill in the clothes and hair by placing base tones, very similar to those of the original card, I also placed a base tone on the hat and take advantage of giving it a different shape than the one I had made in the sketch, I think that this shape, although it was not perfect, looked much better.

Le di forma a su pecho para luego comenzar a detallar la ropa, en esta ocasión use solamente tres tonalidades, el color que use de base, uno mas oscuro de la misma tonalidad y otro mas claro, asi realice algunos volúmenes y pliegues en la tela, agregue otra capa donde comencé a pintar el bordado dorado, creo que esta parte si fue difícil, quería hacerlo lucir como bronce, pero fue muy complicado, luego me ocupe del sombrero, dándole muchos pliegues para darle un poco mas de realismo, esto lo hice jugando con luces y sombras, luego pinte la correa que rodea el sombrero y la hebilla colocando colores base y luego aplicándole mas tonos para darle el volumen, pinte el collar dorado, use amarillo, naranja y otros tonos dorados creando esferas que cuelgan del cuello, para darle mas forma al rostro comencé a pintar las cejas y pestañas y agregue algunos reflejos grises en el cabello para darle realismo.

I shaped her chest and then began to detail the clothes, this time I used only three shades, the color I used as a base, a darker one of the same shade and a lighter one, so I made some volumes and folds in the fabric , I added another layer where I started to paint the gold embroidery, I think this part was difficult, I wanted to make it look like bronze, but it was very complicated, then I took care of the hat, giving it many folds to give it a bit more realism, I did this playing with lights and shadows, then I painted the strap that surrounds the hat and the buckle placing base colors and then applying more tones to give it volume, I painted the gold necklace, I used yellow, orange and other golden tones creating spheres that hang from the neck , to give more shape to the face I started to paint the eyebrows and eyelashes and add some gray reflections in the hair to give it realism.

En este punto empecé a preocuparme por el fondo, ya que no tenia nada planeado, pero se me ocurrió pintar esta especie de cielo nocturno, use un pincel con textura de nubes variando los colores entre azul y gris para hacer un cielo mas realista, con la herramienta de elipse realice un pequeño circulo y agregue un desenfoque para hacer la luna, lo hice con un azul muy claro y luego le comencé a dar brillo en nuevas capas con modos de fusión que hagan este efecto luminoso, se me ocurrió dibujar algunas siluetas de murciélagos volando alrededor y también aplique un desenfoque en ellos, agregue algunas luces sobre Dark enchantress, sobre todo en los ojos, ya casi terminado el dibujo comencé a darle un cambio de tonos a la imagen para hacerla combinar un poco mas con el fondo, en este caso oscurecí un poco mas a Dark enchantress y realce las partes doradas y rojas, finalmente aplique algunas sombras alrededor y termine el dibujo.

At this point I started to worry about the background, since I had nothing planned, but it occurred to me to paint this kind of night sky, I used a cloud texture brush varying the colors between blue and gray to make a more realistic sky, with the ellipse tool make a small circle and add a blur to make the moon, I did it with a very light blue and then I started to shine it in new layers with blending modes that make this light effect, it occurred to me to draw some silhouettes of bats flying around and also apply a blur on them, add some lights on Dark enchantress, especially in the eyes, almost finished the drawing I began to give a change of tones to the image to make it combine a little more with the background, In this case I darkened the Dark enchantress a bit more and highlighted the golden and red parts, finally I applied some shadows around her and finished the drawing.
