Buenas noches para todos, hoy estoy participando nuevamente en el concurso de @Splinterlands, esta vez con una carta que me gusta mucho por los colores fríos con los que puedo trabajar, Ice Pixie. En esta oportunidad quise representarla en retrato, haciendo el rostro muy cerca y con detalles que pueden darnos una pista de que personaje estoy recreando, quise realizar todo el dibujo con tonos muy fríos y pintando el lado derecho del rostro simulando que esta “congelado” algunos cristales saliendo del rostro y grietas brillantes que rodean toda esta parte, como me encantan los brillos hice todo con mucha iluminación, a pesar de ser un retrato y ser algo que me encanta hacer y que se me hace muy fácil, esta vez sentí que fue bastante difícil por el nivel de detalle que buscaba dar, espero que les guste.

Good evening everyone, today I am participating again in the @Splinterlands art contest, this time with a card that I like very much for the cold colors with which I can work, Ice Pixie.
This time I wanted to represent her in portrait, making the face very close and with details that can give us a clue of which character I am recreating, I wanted to make the whole drawing with very cold tones and painting the right side of the face simulating that it is "frozen" some crystals coming out of the face and shiny cracks surrounding all this part, as I love the shines I did everything with a lot of illumination, in spite of being a portrait and being something that I love to do and that is very easy for me, this time I felt that it was quite difficult because of the level of detail that I wanted to give, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto sobre un lienzo azul oscuro y luego comencé a aplicar los colores en el rostro, tonos lila, rosa y azules bastante claros, después añadí una nueva capa donde aplique muchos más colores para darle mas forma al rostro, continue difuminando y mezclando todos los colores hasta tener una piel con textura lisa y suave, empecé a ocuparme de los dedos, haciendo el mismo procedimiento que hice con el rostro, los dedos fueron como pintar un rostro mas, me llevo muchísimo tiempo para poder darle una forma correcta y que no parecieran salchichas jajaja.

I made the sketch on a dark blue canvas and then I began to apply the colors on the face, lilac, pink and light blue tones, then I added a new layer where I applied many more colors to give more shape to the face, continue blending and mixing all the colors until I had a smooth and soft skin texture, I started to take care of the fingers, doing the same procedure I did with the face, the fingers were like painting another face, it took me a lot of time to give a correct shape and not look like sausages hahaha.

Pinté cejas, pestañas y las orejas, luego comencé a pintar el pelo, para esto coloqué un color gris con una tonalidad azul muy leve, después añadí luces y sombras para darle mas movimiento y forma al cabello, continue pintando los cristales saliendo del rostro, después pinte la base de estos cristales oscureciendo un poco para dar esa ilusión de que están saliendo de la piel, también pinte algunas grietas con azul celeste muy claro, pinte las uñas y luego quise agregar un poco de color azul en la parte derecha del rostro para asi darle una tonalidad más fría a ese lado y de lado izquierdo oscureci un poco, agregue algunas luces en el rostro para resaltyar la nariz, ojos y otras zonas mas, finalmente realice un ajuste de color, dejando la imagen con una mayor intensidad.

I painted eyebrows, eyelashes and the ears, then I started painting the hair, for this I painted a gray color with a very light blue tone, then I added lights and shadows to give more movement and shape to the hair, I continued painting the crystals coming out of the face, then I painted the base of these crystals darkening a little bit to give that illusion that they are coming out of the skin, I also painted some cracks with light blue, painted the nails and then I wanted to add a little blue color on the right side of the face to give a cooler tone to that side and on the left side I darkened a little, I added some lights on the face to highlight the nose, eyes and other areas, finally I made a color adjustment, leaving the image with a greater intensity.
