Splinterlands art contest | Skeleton Assassin 💀

Hola a todos hermosa comunidad, comienza una nueva semana y esta vez quise intentar algo que llevaba un par de meses sin culminar, este Fanart tiene muchísimo tiempo desde que lo realice en boceto, pero algo no me convencía del todo, esta semana decidí cambiar todo aquello que no me gustaba y convertirlo en algo que estuviese un poco mejor a mi idea inicial, es por eso que esta semana participo en el concurso de @splinterlands inspirándome en la carta “Skeleton Assassin” me encantan los esqueletos sin embargo, este tiene una forma peculiar en el rostro, quise hacerlo parecido en los dientes pero cambiar un poco la estructura del resto de la calavera, además que me pareció una excelente idea realizar este personaje como si fuese una mujer pero que lleva una mascara y debajo de ella encontramos la calavera, por ello decidí dibujar su mano sosteniendo su rostro falso, usando unas tonalidades bastante frías y oscuras para darle un poco mas de misterio y oscuridad a la obra completa, la verdad disfrute mucho retomando una idea que al principio no me gusto y convertirlo en algo diferente.

Hello beautiful community, a new week begins and this time I wanted to try something that had not been completed for a couple of months, i did the sketch of this FanArt a long time ago, but something did not fully convince me, this week I decided to change everything what I did not like and turn it into something that was a little better than my initial idea, that is why this week I participate in the @splinterlands contest inspired by the card "Skeleton Assassin" I love skeletons, however, this one has a peculiar shape in the face, I wanted to make it similar in the teeth but change the structure of the rest of the skull a bit, besides that I thought it was an excellent idea to make this character as if it were a woman but who wears a mask and under it we find the skull, that's why I decided to draw her hand holding this false face, using quite cold and dark tones to give a little more mystery and darkness to the complete work, I really enjoyed taking an idea that I didn't like at first and turning it into something different.

Proceso/Process

Comencé mi boceto, el boceto original no tenia cabello y le cubría el cráneo con una capucha, el traje lo veía bastante plano, sin embargo, lo mantuve y decidí darle textura y forma a ambas cosas a la hora de pintar, elegí una paleta de colores desaturada de tonos azules y grises, comencé a aplicar los tonos base sobre el personaje rellenando todo por completo, en una nueva capa comencé a detallar un poco mas la forma de la calavera y el rostro, creando otra capa encima termine de detallar su piel y la calavera.

I started my sketch, the original sketch had no hair and covered her skull with a hood, the suit looked pretty flat, however I kept it and decided to give both things texture and shape when painting, I chose a palette of desaturated colors of blue and gray tones, I began to apply the base tones on the character filling everything completely, in a new layer I began to detail the shape of the skull and the human face a little more, creating another layer on top of it I finished detailing her skin and the skull.

Termine de darle forma al rostro humano, la verdad me encanto como se veía estaba muy bonita, comencé a trabajar la textura de la ropa, quería que fuese una textura parecida a un pelaje asi que comencé a pintar con un pincel con textura de cabello agregando luces y sombras, pinte el cabello con un tono base azul oscuro para luego aplicarle reflejos de luz y sombras, use diferentes tonos de azul para que el cabello luciese un poco mas real. Para la banda de su cabeza pinte usando un tono negro y luego aplique azul claro encima.

I finished shaping the human face, I really loved how it looked, it was very pretty, I began to work on the texture of the clothes, I wanted it to be a texture similar to fur, so I began to paint with a brush with a hair texture adding highlights and shadows, I painted the hair with a dark blue base tone and then applied highlights and shadows, I used different shades of blue to make the hair look a little more real.
For her headband paint using a black shade and then apply light blue on top.

Pensé que sería buena idea agregar estas especies de espadas detrás de ella, ya que la carta original tiene este tipo de armas, así que pinte usando gris y blancos unas espadas asomándose por su espalda, quise que para el fondo hubiese cielo, pero necesitaba cielo oscuro y que luciese tenebroso, después de aplicar el fondo ajuste un poco la luz de mi personaje para hacerlo combinar un poco mas, dándole una tonalidad un poco mas verde, finalmente aplique algunos ajustes de luz y sombras para darle mas intensidad al dibujo.

I thought it would be a good idea to add these species of swords behind her, since the original card has these types of weapons, so I painted using gray and white some swords peeking out of her back, I wanted a sky for the background, but I needed sky dark and that it looked scary, after applying the background I adjusted a little the light of my character to make it combine a little more, giving it a little more green tonality, finally I applied some adjustments of light and shadows to give more intensity to the drawing.

Espero que les haya gustado mi participacion para esta semana, a veces las ideas no son malas, simplemente necesitamos verlo desde otro punto de vista.
