Hola amigos, hoy quiero compartir un recuerdo de un sueño que tuve hace poco, fue algo turbio, realmente no recuerdo muy bien el contexto, pero solo recordaba una imagen similar y decidí plasmarla en un dibujo, para este retrato quise utilizar brochazos bastante rústicos porque quería tener la mano un poco mas libre y pintar sin mucho cuidado y detalles, además de que me encanta este efecto porque simula un poco el óleo, elegí colores bastante opacos, pero un rojo bastante vivo y potente que resaltara, espero que les guste.

Hello friends, today I want to share a memory of a dream I had recently, it was something cloudy, I really do not remember very well the context, but I just remembered a similar image and decided to capture it in a drawing, for this portrait I wanted to use quite rustic brush strokes because I wanted to have my hand a little freer and paint without much care and detail, plus I love this effect because it simulates a little oil, I chose quite opaque colors, but a red quite vivid and powerful to highlight, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Para empezar les comento que el proceso le falta algunas partes del final pues no guarde los cambios después que ya lo tenia listo, me di cuenta justo cuando le di click en “cerrar” por suerte había guardado ya la imagen en PNG. Empecé mi boceto y elegí los colores con los que iba a trabajar, esta vez no utilice colores tan vivos, quería que todo fuese más pálido y frio, en una nueva capa agregue mas tonos para darle mejor estructura al rostro, continue difuminando estos colores creando una piel suave pero con textura.

To begin with I would like to tell you that the process is missing some parts at the end because I didn't save the changes after I had it ready, I realized it just when I clicked on "close" luckily I had already saved the image in PNG.
I started my sketch and chose the colors I was going to work with, this time I didn't use so vivid colors, I wanted everything to be more pale and cold, in a new layer I added more tones to give better structure to the face, I continued blurring these colors creating a soft but textured skin.

Pinte la ropa de negro y luego agregue una tonalidad rojiza sobre la frente, para el cabello igualmente elegí un negro puro, luego comencé a pintar estas líneas rojas que se desvanecen con la piel y van hacia arriba, también pinte algunas líneas de sangre en la parte izquierda recorriendo el rostro, continue agregando profundidad en algunas partes de estas líneas rojas, luego comencé a dibujar las calaveras, las hice de una manera en las que se mezclaran con esta silueta roja, también usé la herramienta de dedo para mezclar algunas zonas y fusionar mejor las calaveras, finalmente agregue un ajuste de color donde resalte un poco mas el ojo y le di un tono mas pálido al dibujo.

I painted the clothes black and then I added a reddish tone on the forehead, for the hair I also chose a pure black, then I started to paint these red lines that fade with the skin and go upwards, I also painted some blood lines on the left side going along the face, I continued adding depth in some parts of these red lines, then I started to draw the skulls, I did them in a way that they blend with this red silhouette, I also used the finger tool to blend some areas and merge the skulls better, finally I added a color adjustment where I highlighted a little more the eye and gave a paler tone to the drawing.
