Hola amigos espero que estén bien, estos últimos días he aprovechado de dibujar una idea que se fue desarrollando poco a poco, realmente mi idea principal no quedo bien así que decidí que dibujaría y mientras tanto iría agregando los elementos que quisiese al dibujo, cuando comencé este boceto hace unos 3 días atrás, pensé en realizar una especie de rosa gigante que en el centro tendría el rostro de una chica, sin embargo esta idea salió mal, conserve el rostro que ya había dibujado y complemente con el cuerpo, de allí comencé a tener una idea de lo que quería, dibuje un velo, una cortada en cuello y con eso este boceto empecé a pintar, hoy recién termino este dibujo y me siento bastante contenta porque me gusto bastante, agregue muchos detalles que no había pensado en el momento del bocetear y resulto bastante cool.

Hello friends I hope you are well, these last few days I have taken advantage of drawing an idea that was developing little by little, really my main idea did not turn out well so I decided that I would draw and in the meantime I would add the elements that I wanted to the drawing, when I started this sketch about 3 days ago, I thought of making a kind of giant rose that would have the face of a girl in the center, however this idea went wrong, I kept the face that I had already drawn and complemented it with the body, from there I started to have an idea of what I wanted, I drew a veil, a cut neck and with that I began to paint this sketch, today I just finished this drawing and I feel quite happy because I liked it a lot, I added many details that I had not thought about moment of sketching and it turned out quite cool.

Proceso/Process

Comencé mi boceto después de un intento fallido y aplique los colores de la piel que serian tonos bastante claros y saturados al principio, esto lo cambiaria después mas tarde. Empecé a dar forma a el rostro, desde los ojos hasta el resto de la cara, para su cabello había elegido un tono marrón claro con mechones rubios pero no me gustaba el contraste que hacia con su piel, así que lo cambie a negro.

I started my sketch after a failed attempt and applied the skin colors which would be quite light and saturated tones at first, this I would change later. I started to shape the face, from the eyes to the rest of the face, for her hair I had chosen a light brown tone with blonde strands but I didn't like the contrast it made with her skin, so I changed it to black.

Seguí dando forma al resto del cuerpo utilizando un pincel difuso, detalle un poco mas los rasgos del rostro y comencé a pintar una mariposa que estaría cubriendo su seno, en su cuello aplique algunas sombras con morado, un pequeño toque de amarillo y rojo creando asi una herida.

I continued shaping the rest of the body using a diffuse brush, detail the features of the face a little more and began to paint a butterfly that would be covering her breast, on her neck I applied some shadows with purple, a small touch of yellow and red creating like this a wound.

Dibuje sobre esta herida unas gotas de sangre cayendo de su cuello, el velo fue un problema realmente iba a hacerlo de otra forma pero fue bastante difícil, hace mucho tiempo que no hacia telas transparentes así que me ayude un poco con algunos pinceles con textura, con un pincel distinto fui pintando unas rosas sobre su velo, realmente esta parte fue un experimento que termino gustándome y dándome mas ideas, detalle las rosas aplicando sombras y luces y luego se me ocurrió dibujar pequeños ojos dentro de cada rosa, también probe agregar unas pequeñas cadenas atadas desde las rosas hacia su velo y me gusto bastante como se veía.

I drew on this wound some drops of blood falling from her neck, the veil was a problem I was really going to do it in another way but it was quite difficult, I haven't done transparent fabrics for a long time so help me a little with some textured brushes, with a different brush I was painting some roses on her veil, really this part was an experiment that I ended up liking and giving me more ideas, I detailed the roses applying shadows and lights and then it occurred to me to draw small eyes inside each rose, I also tried adding some little chains tied from the roses to her veil and I quite liked how it looked.

Las rosas estaban un poco saturadas a comparación del dibujo en general así que ajuste un poco su saturación, pinte un anillo en uno de sus dedos, quería accesorios muy lindos y brillantes que acompañaran este retrato. Últimamente me gusta agregarle sombra negra alrededor de los ojos, se ve bastante genial este tipo de maquillaje, agregue mas detalles en todo el dibujo como luces y sombras y luego me ocupe del fondo, para que todo el dibujo tuviese una misma iluminación (ya que sentía que ella estaba demasiado iluminada) tome la capa donde estaba el dibujo de la chica y con un efecto de multiplicar aplique un tono azul oscuro, ajuste la opacidad a un 25%.

The roses were a bit saturated compared to the drawing in general so I adjusted their saturation a bit, painted a ring on one of her fingers, I wanted very nice and bright accessories to accompany this portrait. Lately I like to add black shadow around the eyes, this type of makeup looks pretty cool, I added more details throughout the drawing such as lights and shadows and then I took care of the background, so that the whole drawing had the same lighting (since I felt that she was too light) take the layer where the drawing of the girl was and with a multiply effect apply a dark blue tone, set the opacity to 25%.

En esta última etapa básicamente di los últimos toques de luces y sombras, aplicando brillo exagerado donde me gustaba, ajustando pequeños detalles como las venas de los ojos que están en las rosas, algunas gotas en las rosas que hicieran verlas un poco jugosas, luces alrededor de ella roja y azul.

In this last stage I basically gave the last touches of light and shadow, applying exaggerated brightness where I liked it, adjusting small details like the eye veins that are on the roses, some drops on the roses that made them look a bit juicy, lights around of it red and blue.

Un pequeño acercamiento para ver los detalles del rostro y las rosas, me gustaron muchísimo estas rosas creo que las dibujare mas seguidos en nuevos dibujos, es un poco creepy pero me encanta.

A small approach to see the details of the face and the roses, I really liked these roses, I think I will draw them more often in new drawings, it is a bit creepy but I love it.

As always, stunning work, Alexa! I love that little Monarch butterfly subtly covering her nipple. This has a bride of Frankenstein's monster feel to it, an unwilling maiden, haunted but resigned.
