Trying to make a cute reindeer (?

Bueno, como estas fechas son bastante importantes para mí, estoy casi diariamente buscando que otra cosa hacer, es bastante divertido crear nuestros propios adornos navideños y esta vez vi un video en TikTok que me mostro como hacer pequeñas decoraciones para el árbol de navidad, había diferentes diseños, hombre de nieve, santa Claus, bastones de caramelo, pero yo decidí hacer el reno ¿Por qué? Bueno, no sé nunca había hecho un reno y la verdad me quedo un poco extraño, pero al menos lo intenté jajaja, igualmente lo puse en mi arbolito y me gusta, se ve bastante tierno.

It's quite fun to create our own Christmas decorations, and this time I saw a video on TikTok that showed me how to make small decorations for the Christmas tree. There were different designs: snowmen, Santa Claus, candy canes, but I decided to make a reindeer. Why? Well, I don't know, I'd never made a reindeer before, and to be honest, it turned out a little strange, but at least I tried, haha. Anyway, I put it on my little tree, and I like it; it looks quite cute.

Proceso/Process

Hacerlo es bastante sencillo si realizas un boceto primero y luego recortas todas las partes por separados, justamente eso hice, empezando con un circulo que hice con ayuda de un compás, luego comencé a dibujar los ojos, nariz y demás detalles del reno. Recorte todo por separado para luego empezar a pasar los moldes a una hoja de foami, para el rostro del reno ocupamos un foami color piel, como no tenia, tomé uno rosa y lo pinté color piel con un marcador acrílico y con ayuda de sombra de ojos hice un sombreado en los bordes del círculo.

It's quite simple to do if you make a sketch first and then cut out all the parts separately. That's exactly what I did, starting with a circle I drew using a compass. Then I began drawing the eyes, nose, and other details of the reindeer. I cut everything out separately and then started transferring the templates to a sheet of foam. For the reindeer's face, we used skin-colored foam. Since I didn't have any, I took a pink one and painted it skin-colored with an acrylic marker. Then, using eyeshadow, I added shading to the edges of the circle..

Dibuje las otras partes del reno en foami marrón escarchado y la nariz en foami rojo escarchado y lo recorte todo. Después de tener cada pieza, fui armando el reno poco a poco pegando cada parte con silicón caliente. Tambien pegue en la parte trasera un hilo grueso para tener como colgar a nuestro reno. Para darle mas detalles al rostro le quise poner rubor en las mejillas para esto utilice sombra de ojos roja, dibuje los ojos con marcador negro, de hecho, había hecho los ojos con foami negro escarchado, pero no les voy a mentir, se veía super satánico con esos ojos, asi que decidí pintárselos directamente y quedo mucho mejor.

I drew the other parts of the reindeer on brown glitter foam and the nose on red glitter foam, then cut them all out. After I had each piece, I assembled the reindeer little by little, gluing each part together with hot glue. I also glued a thick string to the back so we could hang our reindeer. To add more detail to the face, I wanted to add blush to the cheeks, so I used red eyeshadow. I drew the eyes with a black marker; I had actually made the eyes with black glitter foam, but I won't lie, it looked super creepy with those eyes, so I decided to paint them directly, and it turned out much better.

Y como último detalle no podía faltar los brillitos en los ojos, nariz y mejillas, un toque que le da vida a cualquier personaje.

And as a final detail, the sparkles in the eyes, nose and cheeks couldn't be missing, a touch that brings any character to life.

Final

Es muy bonito el resultado final, aunque siento que los cuernitos del reno se pierden cuando lo coloco en el arbolito, aun asi quede con ganas de hacer mas diseños, pero hoy no me dio tiempo de continuar, en fin, espero que les guste.
