We celebrated his 3rd birthday

Hace 3 años Tommy llego al mundo, esto lo supe cuando fuimos a su primera consulta con el veterinario donde nos comento el mes en el que había nacido, sin embargo no teníamos una fecha exacta asi que decidí que los 23 de junio seria el cumpleaños de Tommy, hoy nuestro hermoso gatito cumple 3 años de vida y lo celebramos en casa intentando hacer una especie de pastel de Churu pero sinceramente no me salió bien, además el estaba desesperado por comerse el churu jajaja.

Tommy came into the world three years ago; I found this out when we went to his first vet appointment, where the vet told us the month he was born. but we didn’t have an exact date, so I decided that June 23 would be Tommy’s birthday. Today, our beautiful little kitten turns 3, and we’re celebrating at home by trying to make a sort of Churu cake—but honestly, it didn’t turn out very well. Plus, he was dying to eat the Churu, hahaha.

Es increíble como pasa el tiempo, a veces no me doy cuenta de lo mucho que ha crecido Tommy hasta que veo sus fotos de bebe y la diferencia es ENORME, amo a mi gatito porque ha sido una alegría en esta casa, nos ha regalado momentos únicos y nos ha llenado de muchísimo amor, hoy aunque no se si es su verdadera fecha de cumpleaños quiero celebrarlo como si fuese asi, celebrar su llegada a este mundo.

It's amazing how time flies. Sometimes I don't realize just how much Tommy has grown until I see his baby photos—and the difference is HUGE. I love my little kitten because he's been such a joy in this house; he's given us unique moments and filled us with so much love. Today, even though I don't know if this is his actual birthday, I want to celebrate it as if it were—to celebrate his arrival in this world.

Se que a algunas personas les parecerá estúpido celebrar el cumpleaños de un gato pero a mi me parece algo muy lindo y tierno, además que siento que es un hermoso recuerdo que estamos dejando a nuestro hijo que en un futuro recordara con muchísimo cariño.

I know some people might think it's silly to celebrate a cat's birthday, but I think it's really sweet and endearing. Plus, I feel like it's a beautiful memory we're creating for our son, one that he'll look back on with great fondness in the future.
